  1. 3 instrumental runs then Robert on the original 4 instrumental runs then Robert on the re-mastered 2007 & 2015
  2. About this time, on March 4th, 1975, I was sitting 3 rows back stage left, waiting for Led Zeppelin to take the stage at the Dallas Convention Center Arena. This boot was also the very first Zeppelin soundboard that I ever heard. My experience with it was on it's CD release. What thrill it was to be taken back in time to that glorious concert. No matter what the soundboard does or does not reveal, it was a magical evening to experience in person, in the flesh, that visual and auditory delight.
  3. This is some nice and classy ink:
  4. Major Tom - by Peter Schilling 1983 After the intro, which sounds like Devo to me, the driving guitar and drums, makes me think of Zeppelin's "Nobody's Fault But Mine."
  5. It would be a more interesting list to see what studio versions fans prefer over a good well recorded live version. I *Do Not* / *Will not* listen to the studio versions of: Kashmir TSRTS No Quarter OTHAFA SIBLY IS
  6. I just watched a Celebration Day Premiere video of his on YT the other day. I wasn't aware that he had passed. Sorry to see him go at such a young age (he's younger than me).
  7. HAPPY 76TH, MR. MUSIC MAN ! ! ! Here's a Trombone Blast just for you !
  8. I find that most Zeppelin music used in movies is not the right or best fit for the Zeppelin song used. It's a matter of taste, I know. And I like Zeppelin songs, of course. But, I am also critical if a certain piece of music makes an impact or doesn't considering the scene. When you look at the monster rockers used, and then the, for Zeppelin, the "commercial" Immigrant Song...it just seems to short the band. It's use was cheesy, but I get that's what you get with Jack Black. I would have preferred Heartbreaker. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/School_of_Rock#Songs_featured_in_the_film
  9. I was at the Dallas, Houston & Ft. Worth shows. The Ft. Worth show was the best of the three, particularly Kashmir. The highlight in Houston was TSRTS and Ten Years Gone. Dallas, the first date of the tour was like a rehearsal. A unmemorable show, for a Led Zeppelin concert.
  10. Upon first listening to IV in 1971, R&R, TBOE, and Four Sticks were my favorites. I particularly enjoy Four Sticks with (good) headphones on.
  11. From experience, Houston and Ft. Worth, but Dallas - no.
  12. I'd like to know if anyone knows if Zeppelin had planned to multi-track any of the cancelled '75 or '77 shows.
  13. On of the Best Concert openers ever, from ELP. In Quad at the arena. 🤪
