  1. That was one of the best series finales I've seen. I loved the implied ending that
  3. I usually link to an off-site image, one hosted at Imgur for example, so see if that helps. Sometimes the "upload avatar" function can be fussy if the file size is too big.
  4. Gorgeous.
  5. This is the best version of the song ever recorded, hands down. It's so sublime, so lush.....I'd probably run out of adjectives before I felt I'd described it properly.
  6. I've never liked the word sloppy unless the word "joe" immediately followed it. Page wasn't sloppy, and to say that he was is to somehow imply that he was willfully lax in his playing or otherwise chose to play like sh!t, and that just seems like a stupid thing to say.
  7. Sounds pretty good to me. I've been looking forward to this album since I first heard news he was recording it. As much as I loved On an Island, I hope it's something totally and completely different to it. He's so talented, so it would be a shame to essentially repeat himself when he doesn't need to.
  8. Vin Scully.
  9. Speaking of Mr. Koufax, here he is, in uniform, at the Old Timer's game. That's swagger. That's "I know I'm a god" body language. I'd give anything for a time machine so I could go back and watch him pitch.
  10. It's Old-Timers Day at Dodger Stadium today, and before all the festivities kicked off, there was a luncheon for the players and the members of the 1965 World Series championship team, and it was great to see that Sandy Koufax was there.
  11. The weather people at News14 said we'd have some sunshine today. As I look out the window, all I see are gray clouds. Where's ma sunshine?!?
  12. She Talks to Angels — The Black Crowes
  13. Nothing at the moment, but for dinner later, it'll be chicken kiev and brown rice. The brown rice is because chicken kiev isn't the healthiest thing out there, what with all the butter that's in the middle. I haven't had one in years, so I'm looking forward to it.
  14. Thanks. It's one of my favorite songs as well, which is why I put that lyric in my signature. The first time I ever heard that song on the radio, it made me sit up and take notice; I liked the message that was being said with it, the story that was being told. Probably because we've all been there ourselves at least once, I think, if not with a lover than with a friend or a family member.
