  1. Crazy Times

Is a great record! I am glad I followed this band through the pandemic. They went with the flow and made a kick ass hard rock record ! They took us on a real life ride of heavy music with this album.

Thank You, Sammy Hagar and The Circle

Listen to the Beatles' First Take Of 'Tomorrow Never Knows' - https://ultimateclassicrock.com/beatles-revolver-tomorrow-never-knows-take-one/

Thank you for posting that, that was interesting to hear with the development of “Tomorrow Never Knows”. I can imagine John coming up with the lyrics and banging it out on acoustic guitar. Then thinking of a fragmented riff for the song, which Page would have been perfect for. Yet after this take, it ultimately was Ringo Starr to come up with a drum riff, that established the song completely. Then they must have realized the space.....and then built the song completely. A LANDMARK SONG for rock music !!!

  3. This one song is interesting as a representative song for Plants solo music. In regards to, it is interesting but does not really work. On his first solo record he was relying on Robbie Blunt, who was a great technical guitarist, clearly by the live version of this song. Yes this song can musically compete with the 80s bands like The Police and Rush....but does it work as a song? Idk, Plants quest for new music sometimes worked against him. After this first record, he doubled down on “being different” from zep and his whole keyboard oriented/guitar secondary rock,  lasted for many years........

  4. I am definitely a fan of this Band ! I bought some of their albums during the covid and I think they are awesome together ! Sammy Hagar has his own sound yet can sing just like Plant and Chris Cornell at moments. Aside from buying the last Stray Cats record and old Bob Seger records on eBay,  this is the best new hard rock that I have heard in awhile. Where I can actually buy their records !

  5. I wonder what the statistics are for this, super curious, cause my music memories mostly start in 1979 being 10yrs old with the hype over the new zeppelin album. So the stations that my parents played in the car, had a lot to the music that I heard. So I know that I heard Donna Summer and Blondie, right next to All my Love and Fool in the Rain. Yet I have my transistor radio memories of listening to kashmir and stairway before that.

I agree but they need Steve Vai at guitar, not Vin Johnson.

Nah, imo...vic johnson does a great eddie  and jimmy! Plus on the original songs, he sounds more slash/page influenced. It’s nice to see jason bringing his led zep experience bands influence into the zep songs, with playing stuff like, when the levee breaks and good times bad times into that live album. Huge breath of fresh air, in regards to hearing live led zep.

  7. I bought the space between cd and lockdown cd off eBay and I gotta say, I love this band! I think this is the best band for Jason! Very happy he found a home, with a great band, he totally deserves it and it’s great for zeppelin and van halen fans.

  8. Amazing photo of a young John Bonham !  I wonder how far along he was in his 10,000hours to become a truly great drummer, as opposed to how much natural talent and dexterity he had naturally.  As we have heard Jimmy describe, how his talent was more in his subtle wrist technique more than the popularized thoughts of him being raucous and arm bashing drummer.  The photo seems to show that he had a flair or natural talent going there at a young age.

  9. Have seen this before, its well done. But what i really like about it, is that it reminds me of all the great renditions of cover songs, that i have seen by bar bands over the years. Enough cannot be said about local musicians in bands, giving their hearts out there for music they love. I have memories of great bar bands along with the great bands and rock gods that i have had the privelage to hear.
