  1. I just now saw your post. I reside in Texas, however, if I lived in Los Angeles I would have definitely attended this momentous event. Even if I was unable get in, I would have loved to have hung out with as many people who love Ronnie as much as I do. My love for Him will never cease.
  2. Watching the end of the "Breaking Bad" marathon on AMC which segues into the beginning of the end (final six episodes) of "Better Call Saul". I am eager to see how the show incorporates Walter and Jesse into these final episodes.
  3. It doesn't challenge me but I thought that your post was funny and definately correct.
  4. Hey Rick. The Cardinals hit 4 consecutive home runs today in the top of the 1st inning against the Phillies. Only the 11th time in MLB history that this feat has been accomplished. Arenado, Gorman, Yepez and Dylan Carlson. However, the Phillies came back to tie the game until Arenado hit another solo home run in the top of the 9th to win the game. The Cardinals lost yesterdays game to the Phillies but Arenado did hit for the cycle.
  5. I really do not know.
  6. Thanks to great playing by the Cardinals and the current 8 game losing streak by the Brewers, the Cardinals are now in first place in the NL Central. As for the upcoming MLB All-Star game, the Cardinals, I believe, will have Paul Goldschmidt (1st base), Nolan Arenado (3rd base), Tommy Edman (SS) and Harrison Bader (CF) represent the Cardinals. Possibly Yadier Molina (C), Adam Wainwright (P) and Albert Pujols (DH) as well. Supposedly the final season for all three of these future (1st ballot) Hall of Famers. Of course, with the All-Star game still 5 weeks away, anything is possible.
  7. Thanks. I thought it was actually funny. I posted this to point it out and see if anyone else also noticed it.
  8. It doesn't surprise me that Led Zeppelin's Heartbreaker/Livin' Lovin' Maid came in at #26. What does surprise me is that Pat Benatar's Heartbreaker/Livin' Lovin' Maid came in at #66. I have never heard Pat Benatar's version before.
  9. Same here. One of my favorite actors. All I can think and say is that/this sucks. I'm gonna miss you Ray!!!
  10. ...or the Cardinals who just blew out the Pirates 18-4.
  11. That's funny because I thought the same thing and I was going to post your exact same words a few days ago. So, the question remains the same, who the fuck are the Gaurdians? By the way, are there any fans of the Guardians on this forum?
  12. Today is a sad day for fans of Mr. Ronnie James Dio as it was on this date, May 16, that Mr. Dio left this Earth 12 years ago in Houston, Texas. Most of us fans of Dio already know all there is to know about him. He is and will always be my second favorite singer. Long Live DIO!!!
  13. Tonights game has been postponed due to rain (I read). Doubleheader tomorrow. Should be a good series.
  14. Speaking of the Cardinals, tonights win marks 202 wins for Adam Wainright and Yadier Molina, the most in MLB history between a pitcher and catcher (for the same team). Two future first time ballot Hall of Famers. All as proud Saint Louis Cardinals. Also, the debut of Albert Pujols as a pitcher who just happened to give up two home runs in the top of the 9th. Unfortunately, no strikeouts. Was fun to watch. Even the Giants were laughing (in a positive way).
  15. As of this moment, the Cardinals are killing the Giants 11-0 in the top of the 6th. Arenado, Goldschmidt and Molina have each homered. Wainwright has only given up two hits so far. Game is on ESPN. Edit to add: make that 11-2.
  16. It does seem rare that the Orioles and the Cardinals play each other either in Baltimore or Saint Louis. Based on the recent records of both teams, I am going to say that the Cardinals should win this series. I just saw who is starting for the Cardinals, Packy Naughton. As big of a Cardinals fan I am and always will be, who the Fuck is Packy Naughton? Good luck to both teams. However, go Cardinals!!!
  17. Just finished the final episode of "Ozark". Another great series up there with my usual favorites: Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Homeland, Ray Donovan, etc... I highly recommend anyone who reads this to invest some time and watch any (or) all of these shows (time permitted, of course). To me, it is (was) worth it.
  18. About to begin the 2nd season of "Boardwalk Empire". I started watching it about 6 years ago but never got past season 2. I am determined to finish it (5 seasons in all) in the next couple of weeks. I have no idea how the series ends. Great series so far. I like the 'semi-historical' aspect of the show.
  19. One (of dozens) of my favorite Rush songs. Great lyrics. "Everybody got to deviate from the norm".
  20. Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience on Friday, April 29 in Dallas, Texas. This will be my third time seeing Jason.
  21. Adam Wainwright, Yadier Molina, Albert Pujols and the rest of the 2022 Saint Louis Cardinals. My prediction (as usual): The Saint Louis Cardinals will be the 2022 Major League Baseball World Series Champions. Good Luck to Everyone and their favorite Baseball Team(s).
  22. Sorry, I meant 2022. Still can't wait.
  23. "Inventing Anna" on Netflix. I am only on episode 3 of this 9 episode limited series. Anna is played by the remarkable Julia Garner (the " Don't take no Shit from anyone" Ruth Langmore of the equally remarkable Netflix series, "Ozark"). The final 7 episodes of "Ozark" returns to Netflix on April 29, 2002. Can't wait.
  24. On Albert Pujol's first game back (today) as a Saint Louis Cardinal, the Cardinals beat the Washington Nationals 29-8. The Cardinals scored 15 runs in the top of the 8th inning. Pretty amazing for any MLB team to score so many runs in one game. (I know that it is only a spring training game but nonetheless a pretty remarkable feat).
  25. It seems that Albert Pujols is returning to the Saint Louis Cardinals as the DH on a one year deal worth $2.5 million.
