  1. Thank you for the kind Birthday wishes everyone . Life's busy at the moment but all is well .
  2. I must say that I did not know the man personally but I always enjoyed Levee's posts and his sense of humour. Definitely one of the good guy's here . It saddens me to hear of his passing and I'm saddened for his family and friends who will miss him dearly. RIP Levee
  3. Thanks again everyone. I must say that I'm totally chuffed . What a great group of friends I have
  4. Thank you everyone and a belated Happy Birthday to April Lynn too
  5. As a team, we're just not scoring enough goals and we haven't been for ages now. I think you're overestimating the talent this team has though. You can't win in this league with only two productive lines and I'm stepping out on a limb saying we actually have two productive lines
  6. You think you're pissed off
  7. You might be surprised at how cheap fixing your turntable could be.! Personally, if there's a vintage outlet in your area that does repairs, I'd take it to them and let them give you a quote. They may even have an older refurbished one they're willing to sell. Hard to find good new turntables at a reasonable cost !
  8. Have a great time and stay in the short stuff !
  9. Oh, I know it was a fluke and I think it was the same thing when the Canucks played the Ducks. We'd played a hard fought game against the Kings the night before and we left everything on the ice that night. Nothing left in the tank the following night against the Ducks. It happens
  10. Well, look at the Blues game against New Jersey the other night. It happens but I agree, any team with it's fair share of talent shouldn't be losing by a converted touchdown or more

  12. The visiting team hands in their starting line up first so imo, Torts had no choice but to put out a starting line up that matched up. No way he or any other coach could or would risk putting his star players out against that goon squad. Obviously, Hartley felt his team hadn't been performing in recent games and decided to try and get the sparks flying right from the opening face off . He's not the first and won't be the last coach to try that as some sort of motivational tool. As for Torts and his reaction, yeah, he'll be suspended but I have to say that I've gained a whole new respect for the man. He cares about his players and isn't shy about sticking his neck out to defend them. I just hope his players return the favour. They owe him one
  13. Pissed that I was shunned for an Oscar nomination !
  14. I'll second that ! Good luck Planted
