One of the greatest nights ever and the final Zep member I needed to see. . Flew up to Seattle for a week and this was my first night. . I needed 2 days of my vacation to recover:):)

These jokers with the Tarantura and EVSD prices are out of their fkn minds at $100+. . I dont see a lot of Scorpio or Graf at all. . Wendy's come around a bit but the price is usually too high. . I do see old LP boots and I feel sorry for the guys/gals who bought in the 80/90's because it seems you didnt really ever know what you were getting. . What about Boleskine Music?? And the Badgeholders. . did Winston give it some balls? It seems to lack any bottom end (could be my copy)

Hi NR:) Since we're engaged in this convo and it still seems to baffle me that there are people out there that hoard. . and we have possibly a new SBD with 3/21/75 coming out. . Where do these keep coming from? It seems to be one a year coming out on some high priced EVSD vehicle. .Now the 7/17/77 box message. . Could it be Page? Do you think the stolen stash from the 80's is the source? Im blown away that tapes of all kinds from 40+ years ago keep popping up. . These hoarded ones you all are speaking of might not see the light of day because people have mental issues but how much do you believe are still out there??

Technically not LZ The second show I ever saw was Robert Plant 6/11/1988 in Tempe. . a couple years ago a friend of mine was able to find this AUD recording of this show and it is an amazing show. . def one of the highlights of my life even after all these years. . I was able to see the girl I went to the show with for the first time since 1989 just a few days ago and passed the show on to her. . An amazing experience. .

I was (and guess still am) influenced by everything Seattle. . In high school here in the outskirts of PHX in 1990 the music scene was horrible and it seemed like we got a lot of what Seattle had to offer. I was a huge fan of Mother Love Bone before Andy's death and loved Louder Than Love when Soundgarden was still underground. . I was fortunate to see SG and Temple Of The Dog at Lollapalooza 92 and 11 years later at Lolla 2003 Audioslave co-headlined. . I wore out my Badmotorfiner CD. . Worked at a local record store ZIA's when Superunknown came out and had it 2 weeks before it came out. .Of all of the deaths since this all to seemed to start when Scott Weiland died (and we've had so many) this one hurts a little more. .Universally loved by most musicians and a one hell of a song writer RIP to one of my musical heroes. . You will surely be missed

Another 44 years to the day show. . 5/18/1973 Dallas. . tried listening to Birmingham 5/18/77 and the recording is no good. . Ill try Earls Court day 2 later but I recall it being muddy. .

Strider Ive been reluctant to buy Scorpio recordings because I see them rarely and dont know much about them. . Do they put out a quality product?

I read much of that 500 page thread NR and SOOO much flinging of the poo that it was hard to understand who the major bell end was but I recall his name in there. . Would have been great for all those involved in the Freezer nonsense if this guy (if he really has it) put it out there as a gesture of good faith. . MAKE IT RIGHT. . Hell if I had something all the fans were dying to have I wouldnt hesitate to share. . If I recall the 71 BR show didnt come out well and wasnt really worth all the hub-bub (wrong maybe?). . Ive always been under the impression PG never made it to the States for this tour. . Was this tour completely mapped out with them opening for various acts or was it a little more flying by the seat of our pants after the first couple weeks with the Fudge? They didnt open up for VF on the East Coast did they?

Is this really a thing anymore? 37 years later are there people out there with tapes in their closet saying "no one but me"? I can understand maybe in the 80's/90's but now? Do you guys out there KNOW of a show that will probably never see the light of day? I would have to think the best stuff is out there by now. . PS Anyone know where the SBD of 3/21/75 EVSD is releasing came from?? Not that we really need it with the AUD tapes being as killer as they are. . THX:):)

I recently bought Moonchilds BH and LTTE and they sound great. . Im not a big fan of Badgeholders so I dont listen to it that often and I believe my source is not Winston. . but wasnt this show chopped up in parts?. . I seem to recall that it had source changes everywhere. . Was Winstons original remaster of Badgeholers a pretty decent show w/out a lot of cuts?

I love when someone resurrects these old posts. . This one in particular because of Chicago and Led Zep 73 accounts of an amazing trial and triumph run in Chicago. . These stories seem to mean a lot to those who were unfortunately "late to the party". . Thanks for digging this one out Porgie:)
