I love these kind of questions to see what others say and what means the most to them:)
1. Houses Of The Holy - The Rain Song has been my favorite song for 30+ years and live Zep '73 is my favorite year.
2. IV - For the obvious reasons. . First time I heard Black Dog I was a forever fan plus Levee is the best song to ever end an album.
3. Physical Graffiti - The '74 sessions make this a killer rock album. . The Rover and Sick Again really stand out for me never liked Trampled though.
4. III - Would be higher if Hats Off was replaced by Hey Hey. . SIBLY is incredible with That's The Way in my top 10 Zep songs.
5. Presence - What can you say but Achilles. . Can do without Candy Store Rock. .
6. II - Like rest of us I've heard this album front to back so many times I have to shelf it and put it on maybe twice a year. . Love the medleys in live WLL though:)
7. I - Same as above. . My very first taste of Zep was my mom's original copy I still have. .Percy's scream on ICQYB hit me like a train when I was 12. .
8. In Through The Out Door - This like the others is incredible to me. . I don't listen to it enough but still highly enjoyable. Would have loved to hear boots of "The 80's Part One" of Carouselambra had Bonzo not died 43 years ago yesterday. .

Led Zeppelin. com is a good place to start. .

Bonham died on September 25. The band's announcement came on December 4. Sure, there may have been rumours (Honestly, did you really think Cozy Powell could fill in for JHB?) and "mixed messages" in between those dates but once the announcement was made on December 4, that was that. They were pretty clear after that.
Of course I know the dates Strider and no Cozy couldn't fill his tea cup. My point was was this all a rumor or were rehearsals taking place. No doubt that after 12/4 that that was that. I just wonder , and look for opionions and reflection, if there were tryouts and if not who would start such rumors. . I think it's a pretty serious thing with this band if they were looking to fill Bonzo's shoes. .

Well of course it did. .
As I watched the final "The Making Of In Through The Out Door" on YouTube, Robert and John Paul both stated that it was over. Everything stopped as JPJ stated. .
But what about the rumors of brinning in other drummers? I believe Cozy Powell and Barrie Barlow were called in to try out IIRC. . Were they really trying to go on and if so would it really have worked?
I've always repected the way they ended on Dec. 4th 1980, I just don't understand the mixed messages. .
RIP Bonzo

I'm the guy who doesn't listen to anything from this reissue from 07. . I bought the original and after JP got a hold of it, it doesn't resonate to me like the record does from 1976. . While it is still amazing, they butchered the recording and I only gave it one listen. . Old habits die hard. .

I've been watching as well. Well done but it's losing it's original idea. . i feel like it's stretched out for likes. .

It's tough to distinguish what he is saying on many songs at certain points in them at times. Immigrant Song is another one with several lines like this.
No Doubt. . And don't get me started on what happend to Carouselambra:):)

All of this just over how a "line" is pronounced in a song.
this. . The fact the through all the studio stuff Robert either gets buried in the mix, has a accent , has to make stuff work in the song, annunciation, or just being a singer. .
Ex. Houses Of The Holy "Satan and Man" . .
Ex. The Ocean "high hopes hailla balll" (or whatever)
I think it's COCAINE but it sounds like cook it, cookie, co- cay, etc. .

As I wish for the rain that we need so bad. . I need a Rain Song. . 1/22/73

So as I look for a show I look at the calendar to see what the date is. . It's 4/27. . It might have been 8 years but it might as well had been 88. . 4/27/69 this killer new band is in SF rewriting the rock books as they kill every show. . . or 4/27/77. . DESTROYER. . What this show means to a lot of LZ fans as they find this incredible show from a band that can kill from night to night but can burst at the seams as they roll through EVERY town SOLD OUT. .
If you have a pick which one means the most to you in context of the band in their state of recording of said bootleg?? Its just something to pass the time. .. CHEERS!:)

They focus on him so much because he is still far and away the most famous golfer in the world. He was well known in his prime even by people who knew nothing about golf, and then his life turned into a tabloid headline. Also, part of it is the reality that there's no other player who is nearly as well known as him to the casual golf fan that they can use to hype the tournament instead. Below is the list of current top eight golfers. I like golf and watch it a lot, but these guys are eight shades of boring. DJ is probably the only one known outside of the golf world, at least in the US, and that's because he had his own tabloid moment. The good news is that golf broadcasts tend to focus just on the people at the top of the leader board once the tournament starts. Assuming Tiger drops off quickly given his lack of recent playing time and his admission that walking 18 holes is going to be difficult for him, the broadcasters will likely stop focusing on him by Friday.

I see a lot of you stranded on Reddit wondering where to go and how to get there. .Start at TYOLZ and DoD. . Soooo many shows and so much to get into from there. . You new gens are in for a real treat when you finally get into the LIVE stuff. . If this band means as much as it does to most of us older folks the treasure trove of live Led Zeppelin now, after all these years, puts you in the best place possible to know the best band of all time. . Everybody's has their favourite year and there is great stuff from all years. . 60+ shows are dynamite. . another 50 that audio aside will take you there. . ENJOY!!!!
