  1. Thank you for your response, Steve. You've always met my expectations and it's wonderful to still see you here contributing to this wonderful site. I must do more research on this gentleman- messenger who must be in his early sixties today. Thanks Steve!
  2. This is a question for all of you pundits of Led Zeppelin. Question: Who is the young bloke on a bicycle riding up to Kidderminster Farm to hand Robert Plant a telegram in the film, TSRS? I've not had an answer in all of my research including from this website years ago. My inquiry went unanswered with some contributing conjecturing from fellow admirers of Led Zeppelin. Your answer is greatly appreciated! Thank you. David Cooper
  3. If anyone has some deep pockets, you might want to stay where Jimmy Page called home in the 1980s. I was shocked to see the illustrious photos of Mill House inside and out. It's breathtaking and a real gem if you can part with about $651 bucks a night. By happenstance, I was fortunate enough to stay across the street at a hostel neighboring Mr. Page's former abode in 1990. To see the photos, here's the link. Very cool! https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/715155727757858351?guests=1&adults=1&s=67&unique_share_id=8e05722a-51d4-4391-a8bd-1c4ee4858087
  4. Steve, Thank you also for answering the question about Mill House's age. I had read that the watermill part of the property did date as you said in the 18th century I just could get an exact time period. So, you've indicated it's early 18th century, and for that I thank you Steve!
  5. Steve, thank you as always for these endearing photos. I must tell you Steve, that Jimmy Page grabbed my arm and held it with tender, but strong care. I had complete Euphoria in meeting the man that adorns some of my wall space at home. I remember you spoke of your wonderful experience of sticking your hand through the gate at Mill House and shaking Page's hand. I also want you to know that I have Horselunges Manor and Plumpton Place proudly displayed in my office at home thanks to Steve Jones. Steve, I know you know who Terry Reid is. We'll I recognized him and had a couple of photos with him. He was there to meet Page however, no one but myself new who he was! He had to announce to one of the book attendants that he was there to see Page and could he please see him. Mr. Reid was so happy to know that I knew who he was; my girlfriend even commented at the joy in his face when I approached him. I want to share these photos and perhaps I will. Again, I'm grateful that you're here and sharing as always, wonderful stories and information about our favorite band, the best rock and roll band in the world. So darn good to hear from you Steve!
  6. I had the pleasure of visiting Mill House back in 1990 when Mr. Page had moved out about six months prior; this was. according to the clerk of the youth hostel located several doors down. If anyone can tell me what the age of Mill house is, I would greatly appreciate it. I know it's a converted water mill from the eighteenth century (brick part of it) to the right of the white perpendicular part of the building. I just can't find the actual age as designated as a grade 2, historical listing. All of Page's homes' Boat House, Plumpton, Tower House, Deanery Garden, and Mill house have charm and beauty however, Mill House predates them all. A definitive answer would greatly be appreciated! Thank you! David
  7. Can anyone answer for me who the chap on the bicycle was that delivered the telegram to Robert Plant in the film "The Song Remains the Same". I would greatly appreciate the info. What's this man doing today and how did he get the gig? Was he hired by Peter Clifton or Joe Massot?...Thank you
