i saw the who last year whilst on tour. phenomenal performance.
the atmosphere was incredible. and all the fans were pretty wild.
i saw them whilst at knowsley music festival, brilliant experience.
my dad was working on the alcohol there, because he's employed with a brewery fitting company, which basically fit beer pumps etc. and they sometimes get invited to perform duties at particular concerts. it's fun to an extent but i prefer to come along and enjoy the temporary posession of an all access pass. i helped out with security for the majority of the day.
some random anonymous dude came up to me, who was drunk at the time. requesting for me to try and sell his bands CD to the who. his exact request was for me to give the CD to their limo driver. it was absolutely hilarious. i was laughing hysterically.
but as always, the shitty weather has to ruin a concert. even though it seemed to get the crowd pumped and going a fair bit more. which was fun to watch.
typical british weather though.
on a side note, i also managed to take numerous snapshots right in-front of the stage. i was literally an estimated meter or so away from roger and pete.
