  1. Hi guys, i was just wondering if anybody on here knows anything about a German pressing of PG with the wrong side pressed? It has the known misprinted labels "Hause of the holy" and "Boggie with stu" but also has "Dazed and confused" (song remains the same version) on side B? The spine code is as follows... SSK 89400-O (SS 2-200) LED ZEPPELIN PHYSICAL GRAFFITI - SWAN SONG STEREO France: WE 322 ultimately i'm looking for any information possible including a rough price as i cant seem to find anything online within regards to this. thanks in advance Daren
  2. I'm new to collecting vinyl. Does anyone have any opinions on collecting Zeppelin on vinyl. Which pressing are best, e.g. - reissues vs originals? I love me some JPJ and want to hear the bass clearly. Thanks in advance.
  3. Hi there, could I please have some help identifying a physical graffiti pressing please? I know it’s not a first pressing as it has the WB logo on sides 2-4 however side 1 doesn’t have the WB logo on the label. The vinyls are stamped SSK 89400 A1, SSK 89400 B5, SSK 89400 C2 and SSK 89400 D1 Inner: A Swan Song / Atlantic recording distributed by WEA Records Ltd., ℗ & © 1975 Sleeve printed in England by Gothic Print Finishers Ltd., London SE9 2EQ All songs published by Joaneline Music, Inc. 4. Record Store Day for 2022 was last Saturday, April 23. Unfortunately, I could not get to a record shop until last night, nearly a week later. Of course, many of the special RSD releases I was looking for were already sold out...Bill Evans, Albert Ayler, St. Vincent, Nick Cave, Charles Mingus. But I did manage to still find a few RSDs I wanted..and some new albums that I had not picked up yet. The glow-in-the-dark Rolling Stones "More Hot Rocks". Karen Dalton...unreleased live performances. Sandy Denny "Live at the Royalty". Rain Parade "Explosions in the Glass Palace" EP. New Beach House "Once Twice Melody" double-album. New Johnny Marr. Broadcast - John Peel/BBC Sessions collection. Spiritualized "Everything Was Beautiful".
  5. Hello, I have the new remasters on vinyl. I have also recently learned of the Classic Records set that was released a few years back. Notably, there is a set sealed and unopened on eBay right now. I am very interested in the Classic Records set, but I'd first like to know if they are generally well received as the ultimate Zep experience on vinyl. Or were they the best until these recent remasters? I am speaking of the 45rpm Classic Records and the 33rpm remasters. Thank you one and all for any information you can provide on this.
  6. Hey folks, Wondering if anyone here has any knowledge of this Earls Court set? I can't seem to find much information about it online aside from two conflicting pieces of information that indicate its a Bootleg of either 75 or 300 copies depending on which you believe. Does anyone know anything more about its origin or how rare it really is? My father in law gave it to me to add to my collection and had it from his deceased brother, he knows nothing about it other than it was bought in Vancouver in the 80's. It looks as it they've never been played to be honest. Cheers!
  7. Hello everyone! I would like to have your opinion on the possible value of a Led Zeppelin III Mispress: It is a Led Zeppelin III vinyl, German pressing from the 70s. The cover is the wheel as usual, and the labels are written correctly. However, when you play the vinyl, on all the side A, it is not Led Zeppelin, but is it Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young's side A album "Deja Vu". The vinyl itself is in very good shape, overall VG+. I can't find anywhere on the internet the very similar product. On this link: https://recordmecca.com/item-archives/led-zeppelin-iii-previously-unknown-uk-1st-pressing-variation-with-led-zeppelin-and-crosby-stills-nash-young-labels/ there is a quite similar product, except, here, it is written on the label that side B is Crosby stills nash & young. But on mine it is not written anywhere on the labels. Many many thanks in advance for your help, cause no one could ever tell me any idea of how much it could be worth....
  8. So, what do all those letters and numbers mean? Another newbie and I thought it might be helpful if some of you experts would by gracious enough to pass on some of your knowledge in this area. On the label and in the dead wax there are codes. (For example, I’ve noticed many of my LZ records have “SD” followed by numbers in the upper half of the label, ST-A- followed by numbers beneath the track listings.) Anyone willing to give us a brief lesson on what these mean and more importantly what we should look for as vinyl collectors? Much thanks!
  9. With streaming services so accessible, like many of you, I suspect, my CDs are long ago boxed up. LPs too. But we all know nothing matches the warm, rich, full sound experience that is vinyl. I thought those days were long gone. (I haven’t seen my Klipsh speakers in so long, I’m not sure I spelled it correctly) Then my wife bought me this kitschy retro Croswell turntable. (No, it’s not my old system. But it serves a purpose.) So I’ve decided to replace my old Zeppelin collection, in its entirety. (I may skip TSRTS.) I purchased my current collection in the 80s and most of those I bought used. They were in pretty bad shape even then. But I was just a kid and the songs, pops, crackles, hums, skips and all, took me places I cannot begin to describe. My question is this. What vinyl format creates the best overall listening experience? I know Page has done reissues of all titles, twice I think. (90s and ‘15?) And I know the 2015 reissues came in deluxe editions. I read some reviews of the 2015 RI of PG that were not good. But most on this forum were favorable. So, if you had the ability to start over (oh so exciting) what format? Original releases, used but NM or VG? The 2015 RIs, new? Something else? I’m less interested in the extra material and bells and whistles that come with the deluxe editions. My main interest is sound quality. I would also appreciate any advice on avoiding scammers. I’ve seen “original pressings” still in shrink wrap (seriously) for prices too good to be true. What else should I watch out for? So, thanks for helping me kick off this journey. Maybe some of you will find it fun/interesting/nostalgic to come along. I hope so.
  10. hi guys, my vinyl copy of led zeppelin 2(remaster) says "living loving wreck(shes just a woman)" on the label. i know that the first pressings had that aswell, but the mistake was soon fixed. do the remasters have that as a tribute or do have a super rare copy? the title on the gatefold has the correct spelling.
