Is it just me, or is there a thread missing?
Yes there is, and I miss it terribly.
Someone always has to come along and spoil things...

What the Fuck is a post count junkie
Joe, the worst one ever doesn't seem to be posting here anymore, but they are people who just like to see their name up in pixels and will post all day long, usually about things they have no clue about and have nothing valid to say.
You can usually tell who they are by consulting 'Today's Top 20 Posters' on the homepage.

GET A LIFE YOU SAD BASTARD....
You mean by "sad bastard" a guy who can't get a job, then sits on here all day and night, has dry drunk brain to the point where he rambles on incoherantly and contradicts himself with most posts, hates Americans of whom he has never even met much less spoken to and, oh yeah, has "ruined his life" putting others life at risk with a DUI....sounds like YOU fit that bill perfectly!

I'd be curious in a given hour what the actual programming time is. Just curious if anyone that does watch a lot of tv has noticed a big uptick in commercial breaks or if it's me?

But the thing that pisses me off the most is that all the channels seem to have commercials at exactly the same time, so you can't even surf to avoid them.
Fortunately, we also have the BBC here. No commercials!

A random observation I made last night.....Is it me or are there even more commercials on television these days? I'm not a big tv watcher, but the last few times (as soon as I turn the set on) I've had to flip through maybe 20 channels or more to find ANY show that wasn't airing a commercial break. I know years ago the FCC over here had rules (at least for broadcast tv) but I guess anything goes now.

Yep, there are easily more commercials on TV these day's. That's annoying alright but what I find even more annoying is that the sound volume of said commercials is always higher than the volume you've set for watching the actual show. I've heard there's to be a law introduced in Canada to stop that . Can't wait !

My latest TV has a function where you can set the volume to be equal throughout. Unfortunately, it seems to affect the overall sound quality, so I never use it.
