Uh, I know it's kind of late, but I just wanted to say that I hadn't read your first post, Hotplant, before I posted mine, so I didn't mean to sound all excited about the return of the thread right then when you had something so terrible happen. I'm sorry you had to experience that.

On a totally different subject. My favorite sushi place was closed down for a few days by the health inspectors. It's open again but for the first time i am hesitating in going there.

My buddies know i don't like to do that. I know a lot of dudes who don't like to do it. They just do it because it's expected of them. "Part of the deal". They say a guy does not have much chance of keeping a woman if you don't do it. They also do it out of ego too.

I have never got a thrill out of making a woman's toes curl. That's not one of my goals in life But i know guys who do it for the ego gratification. Just to say they were able to drive her crazy. Although i told them to be careful because a lot of women fake it.

No, it's not that. It's just an example to show how gross going downtown is to me. I don't really want to eat Rat Poo. It's just that i would rather eat that than go downtown. Eating that would be over quicker. I would hope anyways.

Most likely, it's the lighting to blame, and not the actual mirror. Different types of lighting-i.e. fluorescent bulbs, incandescent bulbs, sunlight, etc.-will make you look different.
