It was actually verrry slow for me, so I ended up checking out news reports of it. Still very exciting to get some feedback, even today. How anyone could get drunk enough to get themselves escorted out is beyond the beyond (as someone retold in the 'named &shamed' thread), but nice to hear the experiences, nevertheless. Aquamarine Posted May 22, 2009 Share Posted May 22, 2009 My ticket partner and his friends (we didn't actually attend together) drank an astonishing amount before the show, went to the show with cans of beer and cider in all their coat pockets, and when I got back to the hotel afterwards I was just in time to have a drink with them as they were getting settled into the bar! They must have had an astonishingly high tolerance for booze as they didn't even seem drunk.
