SuperDave
Glad to hear the wait in line was a good time for you and the weather cooperated to make things so much more enjoyable with other Zep fans! That's an awesome version of Kashmir. The band really has it down and are quite polished now! Did you film this Debs? If so great job with the angles and great audio too! snapper
God, that was boring as hell! I'm sorry, but The Groove Remains the Same blows JBLZE away. They take themselves alot less seriously, have 'fun' doing it, and it ain't about making a bunch of money off of the name of Led Zeppelin. It is a true tribute to John Bonham, thats something I can appreciate. Sorry, I just don't get all the enthusiasm for a Zep cover band, especially a boring one. Sure, they manage to sound like the records, but note for note music never had anything to do with live Zeppelin, and never will. Also, I'd take any of the drummers from the Groove Remains the Same tribute over Jason in a heartbeat. Its called 'attitude', something Jason lacks, as does the rest of his cover band. The'yre all equally boring. But thats just me.
ledzepfvr
^^^^Wow Snapper, there are not many who don't care for the music that Jason is putting out in the JBLZE. But it is all a matter of personal taste, and your taste does not seem to run that way. Something may be lost in watching the youtube videos as compared to seeing the live show. I saw the show front row last year and throughly enjoyed it. They were "having fun" and Jasons tribute to his dad is truely heartfelt. Don't know how much more of a tribute one can make to Bonzo than that. Edited November 18, 2011 by ledzepfvr
Deborah J
^^ Hello snapper! You are entitled to your opinion, but I agree with ledzepfvr. Have you been able to see this live? I personally do not consider this a cover band. IMHO Jason has so much love for his father and the music he created and this is his way of sharing it. Also, IMHO I don't think this is about money. Just my thoughts..... slave to zep, it was a great night. I am glad I got the chance to see it again:-) SuperDave, I did not record this. I was dead center of the stage, but I remember this man recording a little down to the right of me. Also, they were recording the event:-) Edited November 18, 2011 by Deborah J
SuperDave
Thanks Debs. Well you could have taken the credit for this epic version of Kashmir and most would not know. Good one, Ledzepfvr as you really summed it allup and the way that I see it too. Some just don't get what Jason's tour is all about.
Deborah J
^^ LOL, I meant I did not tape the video:-) I wished they would have done this in Atlanta!! MINI_Zoso
Thanks Deborah J! Right now this is the closest I'll be getting to seeing these guy's. Gotta hope for a north east tour that I could get to.
Deborah J
Hi MINI_Zoso! I am still listening to this on you tube:-) Honestly it is an experience. I wiped away the tears during Moby Dick. I was directly in front of Jason, the crazy blonde screaming, yelling and jumping around...you have to see this live if you get a chance. fishhead
I wasn't planning on going to see this but ended up going to the Casino Rama show in Orillia Ontario.... and was glad I did. The footage of John Bonham and the way Jason spoke of his father was great in itself to see and hear. The presentation of the music was also excellent and enjoyed by a full house but I really loved seeing the JB footage.

Little Robert Anthony II
I discovered their lead singer James Dylan on YouTube several years ago. Really an amazing talent. I had a feeling he'd make it big one day. I really wanted to see them when they came to the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood, but unfortunately I wasn't able to make it. Hopefully, they'll go on tour again and I can see them.

bigzepfan
Just noticed a post on the JBLZE page that the Michigan show is going to be a one-off event and NOT the start of a tour. The post was by Stephen Furze from Annerin Productions. BUMMER!
Front Row Dave
Just received a TickCo Event Alert that there will be a show at the Greek Theatre, Los Angelas on October 11, 2012. On February 7 I posted that they are playing in Michigan and it would be the start of a tour....however it's only a one-off. Let's hope this one is the start of another tour!!!
