Digging around, I found Led Zeppelin as 1980 PLAYBOY group of the year.

 

I don't remember that, but I'm pretty sure John Paul Jones and John Bonham received awards as best at their instrument in the old PLAYBOY jazz and pop polls at some point.

 

I believe they made clay sculpture likenesses of the winners.
