I'm sitting here tonight with my new record One More From The Road by Lynyrd Skynyrd (the original pre-crash lineup) and wondering how a great album like this was out there for so long and I never listened to it before. So if you would share some of your favorites live albums that aren't by Led Zeppelin or Frampton Comes Alive or Made In Japan (Deep Purple) or something predictable like that. I prefer live and would like to check out some new (to me) things if you got some.

You'd be hard pressed to even be able to tell that this was recorded live. It sounds more like studio versions of their songs with the sound of a live audience being piped in.

Virtually any live record from Dylan or Neil Young with Crazy Horse is a pretty sure bet.
Ani DiFranco's Living in Clip has spent a LONG time in my CD players!

Johnny Cash Folsom Prison is amazing stuff.
Dire Straits Alchemy is an amazing record where Knopfler really shows his guitar virtuosity.
For a little of everything, The Tubes "What Do You Want From Life"

To this day, I love this album........the tunes from Mob Rules & Heaven and Hell are great as studio recordings, but are so much better live........
