DE12 Posted October 2, 2012 Share Posted October 2, 2012 For New Yorkers and visitors - a new exhibit "Melody Maker: The Best Years, 1965-1975," by Barrie Wentzell, rock photographer began on Saturday and runs through mid-October at the Morrison Hotel Gallery. It features some great live shots of the band along with one of Jimmy's more interesting sartorial moments and lots of other fantastic photos from '65-75. On a more trivial note, there's a cool new wine store in my neighborhood that also sells vinyl. They have a poster-size photo of JPJ playing the organ on the Starship with Ahmet Ertegun watching.
