WChrisMullen
I believe No Quarter will be most people's answer. Ice Fishing has some great piano playing but it pales in comparison to the masterpiece that is No Quarter.
Elderer
No Quarter is Zeppelin song, even if most of it was written by JPJ. The same with other LZ songs that have only Page/Plant credits- I believe it was 101% team work of best musicians of that time. Thats where the magic of those songs lie. P.S Thunderthief is my favourite all time partially instrumental album- Shibuya Bop, Daphne, Hoedidle, Leafy Meadows are masterpieces. Down To The River To Pray,Ice Fishing At Night are beautiful pieces on their own.
Glyn
JPJ is one my top 5 musicians of all time....but I just can't get into his solo work. So that would be another one for "No Quarter."
tazulike88
No Quarter is a timeless Epic !! I adore all of Zooma and Thunderthief, But if you add the awesomeness of Jonesy, to the Mystique of Jimmy's Guitar, to the thunder of Bonzo's Kit, to the magic that is robert's vocals, you get No Quarter. Which is something impossible for Jonesy alone to recreate, and i'm saying that in the most respectful way possible .
paul carruthers
I just finished listening to Ice Fishing At Night. A really good piece of music, but No Quarter has it beat by a good margin.
Elderer
I just finished listening to Ice Fishing At Night. A really good piece of music, but No Quarter has it beat by a good margin. Just buy The Thunderthief. You will not regret.
jb126
For me there is no contest. "Ice Fishing At Night" is a lovely piece of music and it's interesting to really hear JPJ sing, but it doesn't measure up to "No Quarter".
