So how is that oil?  Or even the pills?  Are they any good?  I am sure its not like Thai sticks or red tip or gold from the 70s?  If you read this and do not want to post your opinion feel free to pm

No reason to hide anything....everything I did was legal.  I'm retired....they don't drug test for pensions.

The oil is excellent.  You can pretty much smoke it anywhere because it's virtually odorless.  Comes in quite handy when you feel the need to be discreet.  The oil is sold just like weed....made from different strains with various thc levels.  I've seen it as high as 98%.   The cartridge of oil was actually less than 20 bucks, and the budtender estimated you could get 200-300 hits off it.  I had it a week and it was only half gone when I dumped it at the border.  Didn't try any pills, but the caramels were outstanding in Washington.  Oregon has some weird laws if you're from out-of-State.  You can only by one cookie at a time, even though it takes two to catch a buzz.  Nothing stops you from going to another store though.  Had some Afghan Goo in Washington also.  That was quite tasty and very hash-like.  Tough to break apart to do anything with it.  I was basically buying a gram at a time so I could sample as much of a variety as possible while checking out the stores.  Average price was $12-$16 for the best....everything else was cheaper.  You would be surprised how far a properly grown, cured, and trimmed gram will last.  Washington will let out-of -State people buy an ounce at a time....Colorado is only a 1/4 ounce.  Because the goods in Washington are pre-packaged, you see a lot less variety.  Many stores use the same suppliers.  Colorado is a free-for-all....at least for now.  Shatter and dabbing is on the agenda for my next Colorado visit.

Let me weigh in on the Vape Oil in regard to AZ. As Luvz pointed out, AZ does NOT regulate contaminants which much to my dismay wound up affecting me directly. When the oil first came out it was great, just as Mr. Bong pointed out however, unlike Mr. Bong I am a serious lightweight. The small cartridge lasts me a good six months typically. In November past (2016) I renewed my medical card and went to my local dispensary to buy a new cartridge. They now have the "premier" cartridges with what is supposed to be better quality oil so I ponied up the extra $20 for the upgrade. When I got home I realized there was a problem right away. No matter how hard I hit the damn thing I could barely get anything out of it. I figured being November and about 70 outside that maybe I needed to warm up the oil (if it is too cold the oil will gel and not be able to make it into the chamber through the holes). I did this via the use of a hairdryer and tried again. Yep, that worked like a charm. Got a great hit and a lovely high...unfortunately I began to feel as if my lungs were constricting. This lasted for only a couple of minutes and then I was fine. When I woke up the next morning my lungs had the same feeling for about five minutes. My health is very important to me so I decided to research weed oil. Found out in states like goddamned AZ, with little to no regulation, the glycerine (stabilizer) in the oil cartridge is of an inferior, and possibly tainted product. This is what caused both problems, the clogging of the chamber and my lung distress. I brought the product back, explained to the guy what happened and I must say he was very nice and exchanged it out for some old school flower.

Bottom line, as long as I live in AZ and the regulation is non-existent, I will be sticking to flower as I have zero adverse affects from smoking the good old fashioned way. Such a shame because I loved the convenience of the vape pen and the cartridges were fine up until ver recently. Also, since I only purchase once ever three months I no longer buy in the Phx area but go to Flagstaff instead as the quality up there is second to none, the customer service is both excellent and educational, and everything has a money back guarantee. Also, next time I buy I may try the cartridge again as the Flag guy told me not to buy the premier oil (they do not even stock it up there anymore) due to several complaints the same as mine. He told me to stick to the cheaper ol in the plastic / metal cartridge as the stabilizing agent is better quality, organic, and does not typically cause the side effects I experienced. So, if your shop tries to up-sell you on the premier oil (you can also tell by the cartridge, the premier oil cartridge is ALL metal, including the mouthpiece. The regular has a plastic mouthpiece and is made by O-Pen, the same company which makes the vape pens).

Final thought: The pure indica pre-rolled joint (one gram) is pure bliss. I bought this more for my wife who has insomnia issues and believe me, it worked very well, put her out like a light after 30 minutes of what she called a very mellow and happy high. I tried some as well with the same result. I also bought a gram (loose) of a hybrid strain which is my weekend, chill smoker. Does not make you tired but give you a great body / head buzz and makes everything oh so lovely. I enjoy a puff or two before I practice guitar sometimes and I must admit, I play better with it. Then again I am also high so maybe I think I am sounding like Page meets Beck when in actuality I sound like silverware being dropped on linoleum.

I'm the last of the doobie smokers.  Most younger folks get a chuckle that I still burn the old-fashioned way.  However when I twist I usually leave them in awe.  It seems to be a dying art.  I enjoy edibles, but it's not exactly complimentary to an 8 mile hike in the rain forest.  Maybe if you wanted to sit on a stump, watch birds, stare at the fauna, etc....not that there would be anything wrong with that.  Everything has it's place and time.

Where weed is legal, I've yet to see rolling papers made out of weed itself.  Would seem to be a market for that, considering fine cigars are rolled that way.

I don't have a Michigan medical card yet either.  I don't want to be on any list, and I reserve the right for now to possibly re-enter the work-force.

Afghani Hash is always hard. It can be quite bitter to smoke. On the other hand yesterday a (very good and generous)  friend gave me a gram of Nepalease Temple Ball. I have never ever seen that here before. I have seen and smoked it in Amsterdam, but unlike Afghani it was so soft. In fact we couldn't wrap it in cling film and a bit of foil was needed. Even then it stuck to it. Can't wait to have a joint of that at the weekend.

Strange how the Hash and Charas of the Sub continent differ. Afghani is hard and bitter. Pakistani is relatively soft and tasty, Indian hash from the Himalaya is either hard and very greenie black or soft and light and the Nepalease is brown, soft, sweet and bliss. All are strong and wonderful in their own right

Until the legal movement of the last 5 years, I hadn't seen any hash worth talking about in over 30 years.  Seemed to have gone the way of Tai-stick, hay-gold....etc.  Vaping, shatter & dabbing seem to have taken over, especially in Colorado.

Ha....when I was a teenager we used to pool our money and get 6 tai doobies for $5 bucks from the local derelict that sold around the neighborhood on his pedal bike.  We always seemed to end up at Dairy Queen by the end of the night.  Haven't seen a true stick in years.  Really got in to that one special on "Weediquette" that showed the afghan farmers harvesting hash pollen up in the mountains.  Never saw that actually done before.

We have been to Manali in the Himalayas which is the centre of hash production in North India. Not in rubbing season though which is in October. Our guest house owner rubbed loads of "Tolas" and sold them to travellers who stayed there. A Tola is 10 grams and it was about 10 US Dollars - this was in 1991 It was glorious. Check out "Strain Hunters" on you tube for more on how to rub Charas. I never saw " Thai sticks" in Thailand in all the years we were there. Most Ganja came from Loas or Cambodia but when you did get good Ganja there it was very, very good

I guess we have to wait in line.  Forever

At least your State is only a $100 fine for simple possession.  I interpret that law to mean that one has to be pretty much a complete idiot to get yourself in trouble.  That means I'm willing to visit your State and spend my money there.  Now if you can lobby your State to raise the Interstate speed limit above 65mph, I'd very much appreciate it.  This ain't 1958 you know....

Be thankful you don't live here with Cuomo

These pens are great for vaping . I find oil to be more of a head high and less of a body high. The inconspicuous convenience factor is off the charts! No stereotypical pot smell, easy to carry, looks like any other vape apparatus.

Of course , strictly for use where currently legal ?

I had an old friend who moved to California stop by this week.  He brought one of those and some gorilla glue from a Cali medical dispensary.  Quite tasty and convenient.  He's from Placerville, and told me not one person he knows pays for weed.  Makes you wonder how many people are vaping oil at concerts, sporting events, as opposed to tobacco.  I'm sure it's because I'm old, but I get a kick out of being able to charge your vaping apparatus through your computer port while surfing.  Sometimes modern technology is just awesome.

The Nepalease Temple Ball was the best smoke I've had for a long, long time. It was so soft I took a tiny amount, rolled it into a pencil thin line and laid it on to the tobacco in the papers. It was so smooth and the hit was mellow and long lasting. I will be dropping by my friend next week for further analysis :D

Just got back from  Colorado.  These were our buds of choice. We got an 1/8 of Skywalker , and the others we got pre rolled . The descriptions are from wikileaf:

Skywalker ~ a 50/50 hybrid strain with a THC count of up to 15 percent. Well loved by many for the fruity aroma and taste that is coupled with a rather mellow Indica style high. Quickly creeping in is a sense of euphoria that, while not often leading to couch-lock, will usually leave a user feeling a little lazy, perhaps even sleepy.

Glass Slipper ~   a very potent, sativa-leaning hybrid that relies on some popular genetics to offer a stimulating high. This hybrid is cheekily named for its famed mother strain Cinderella ‘99, a Jack Herer - descended sativa created by Colorado-based breeders Brothers Grimm. Glass Slipper’s father strain is unknown -- there is some conjecture as to whether the mystery parent is The White, LA Confidential, or even a Pineapple phenotype. What’s certain, though, is Glass Slipper’s potency -- with a THC composition between 20% and 25%, it’s just as conceivable that this strain is named for its glassy coating of trichomes.

Northern Lights ~ formerly known as CI #5 F1, is an award winning Indica dominant strain. This strain is well received by growers, medical patients, and recreational consumers and may be one of the most popular Indica strains of all time. The strain is readily available in dispensaries throughout the West Coast and Colorado.  26% THC

Poor damn me. No strains here. No contacts. Nothing.

Winter just onset, so no growing either.

I need to be hooked the F up. :(

Get a box, a light, some fans and seeds. 5 weeks veg, 8 weeks flower, 1 month curing. Viola. You must be able to get those basic things down under?

I did get 10 Amsterdam seeds, 2 took, the rest didn't. In the summer the first that took gave me 3 nice buds, then just stopped growing. Didn't die, just didn't do anything. I was thinking it might have been genetically engineered to do that so you keep needing to buy seeds (theory, could be completely off the mark)

It's winter now, the last seed took, has first little leaves, but has stopped dead. Probably the season.

I'd need to look into lights, fans, etc.

I'm trying to find friends of friends who can mail something (reminds me of Cypruss Hill, LOL), problem is, I'm no longer a young bloke who could score from 50 different people. I don't know anyone active and am not "asking around" at work as it's not a good idea.

Gives a whole new meaning to Vegas "High Rollers"....

Still legal to distribute tobacco smoke in the gaming areas of casinos.

But pot smoke is not authorized in public places, for your safety.

Just some random facts I stumbled upon......

The worst States to be busted for weed......Arizona, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Florida.  Even though Arizona came close to voting for recreational legalization, it's still a felony for simple possession.  The other 3 are misdemeanors, but include mandatory sentencing of some degree.

The top selling weed in both Washington and Colorado is 'Blue Dream'.  Not only do users enjoy it, but growers too.  It only takes 6-8 weeks per growing cycle, so profits are maximized.  'Snoop's Blue Dream' is a hybrid of that strain, and coming on strong.  I had some in Washington, and it was probably the best tasting smoke I've ever gotten from a legal dispensary....mellow and piney.  Durban Poison & Girl Scout Cookies round out the field.  (I'm sure the GS of A is quite excited about that fact)

The problem for the casinos in Vegas is their gambling licenses.  No one wants to challenge Federal laws at this point for that reason.  That domino will fall eventually.  If there's any place in the world that can't resist a profit margin it's Sin City.

I wish NY would wake up.  My own Dr is all for it but does not want to go through all the red tape to get his license to write it.  Its lose lose lose here in NY>  Its bullshit.  I will die before its legal here. Assholes run this state and country.  Weed and gambling need to be legalized.  I am sick of having to deal with fuckers in Costa Rica and I cannot risk a urine screen on the Mary Jane.  I would likely stop taking the pan killers I need if I could get the weed legally.  When I worked I smoked every day.  I could roll a joint like a cigarette.  Likely I have lost my touch.  Thanks to the jack ass idiots here dragging their feet.  The medical shit from what I have heard is over priced and not as good as what you can get on the streets.  I can always find it on the streets.  One phone call and I could score it. But its just not worth is, as i hear it stays in your system longer than Coke?  I do not know the facts on that either.  I hear so many different stories.

Time for some Snootchie Bootchies , Jungle Love, and a good old fashioned fireworks show. I believe a bit of Nightfire OG and some Redwood for later should do the trick.

That's hilarious, state of emergency.   They seem to have so many weed names, I have no clue what is what.   Gorilla Glue #4 is pretty amazing.

I wanna try some Moon Rocks or some places call it Caviar.  Snoop Dog has some product line out too
