Jimi Hendrix

Yeah!  Copenhagen '70 is the last truly-great-from-beginning-to-end Hendrix show!  If you are a Hendrix fan you owe it to yourself to find a copy.  I have the "Three source vibratory merge" version.  It's pretty rough but about the best of the six or so audience recordings available.  The version of New Rising Sun will bring tears to your eyes!  Maybe a soundboard will surface someday!

P.S. Happy Birthday Jimi!.

Jimmi plays some of the funkiest licks ever here, and also lays down one of his coolest solo's ever as well.

Electric Church dvd, Highly recommended.

For a fan yes but not for a beginner, it's not that great really. I would rate it 2.5 stars out of five..

I would have to disagree, of the 3 dvds I have by him (EC, Woodstock, & Jimi Plays Berkeley), I would say that there are great versions of some of the songs, perhaps there are other dvd's that are better overall, but of what I own this is this best.
