Ilan Natter
So I just picked up "The Song Remains The Same" on vinyl today used from the NYC record fair, and side 3's label is from side 3 of physical graffiti. The music is correct though. Is this worth anything? Where could I find out? Just thought I would share this with the community.
Zepphile
That's a trip. someone here is bound to know?
Pb!
This is a somawhat rare occurrance, and it does increase the value, but not by much. I assume a regular version is worth around $20-25; I would estimate the mislabeled version's value is double.
Ilan Natter
I got it for 20 today...just wondering how much its worth...where would I go to see?
Pb!
The only real way to know is to put it up on ebay.
The Dark Lord
It's hard to know the exact value, because condition is still a factor, and there may not be any other comparable sales to refer to. I agree with Pb! that label anomalies can double the value, and I would put this at $40-$50 if marketed correctly. I would keep it as a neat collectible. I have a few similar oddities in my collection.
