In the last two races Hamilton has done exactly what was expected from him. He is keeping the championship fight alive.

The Mexican GP was bit boring until the last laps. Vettel lost it completely:

F1 continues next weekend in Brazil.

Max Verstappen in the Brazilian GP...amazing, absolutely amazing. Rarely do we see a performance like that!

Kimi's crash was really scary but luckily nothing serious happened.

One race to go and Rosberg has a lead of 12 points to Hamilton. It looks like Nico isn't even trying to win races anymore, just playing it safe. We'll see if this tactic brings him his first world championship in 27th of November.

Nico Rosberg is the 2016 world champion! This is the second time when son of a former champion wins the title.

The big surprise was what happened just days after the last race when Rosberg announced that he will retire! Now the big question is who will replace him in Mercedes? Pascal Wehrlein seems to be the number 1 candidate at the moment.

^ That was a big surprise!  Any tasty F1 news heading into the 2017 campaign?

Daytona is back in action tonight with The Busch Clash.  Cool photo from last night's practice.  #2 Brad Keselowski was in front of Harvick when this photo was taken.  Looks like his car is bottoming out a little...

The most exciting news from Finnish point of view is that the driver to replace Nico Rosberg is VALTTERI BOTTAS!  With Kimi Räikkönen in Ferrari there should be a good chance for first Finnish GP win since 2013.

2017 cars will be longer, lower and have wider tires. They should be about 3 seconds faster than last year! Sauber was the first team to reveal their new car:

Like it!  3 seconds quicker, wow!  Hope your Finnish drivers do well.  Looking forward to seeing how Ferrari comes back this year after a down year for them last season.  Red Bull was looking great the second half of the season.  Should be a very interesting start next month!

F1 season begins this weekend.

Here you can see how much quicker this years cars are. Pole lap 2016 vs the fastest lap of the 2017 winter tests. In the actual qualifying the new cars will be even faster!

Qualifying in Bahrain will begin in about half hour. Ferrari and Mercedes seem to be very close to each other and Red Bull is not far behind.

Fernando Alonso will drive Indy 500 instead of the Monaco GP this year. Who would have thought?

Kimi gets his first pole since 2008 at the crown jewel of F1, Monaco.  Hamilton misses round 3 for the first time in 4 years, starting 14th - eek!  Can't imagine driving up through all of that on the tightest circuit.  Can't wait for tomorrow...

Vettel wins Monaco.  Kimi looked like he was ready to kill someone after that failed pit strategy probably cost him the race.

Sato winning Indy for Andretti was nice to see too.  Glad everyone was safe after a wild race.

600 has begun and the #4 is on the pole. Hope Harvick can pull out his 3rd win at this major race.

Lot has happened since I posted here last time. Bottas took his first victory in Russia and another one today in Austria. He has shown that he is a worthy driver.

In Azerbaijan Vettel lost it completely and hit Hamilton on purpose behind the safety car. Bottas overtook Stroll right before the finish line, finishing second despite being a lap behind at one point.

And Kimi... well, even when things go badly he still manages to entertain the people :D

In last weekends race in Singapore Vettel's agressive move at the start might have cost him the championship. Hamilton is now 28 points ahead. Poor Kimi, once again the mistakes of others ruined his race. He probably would have been leading after the first corner.

Hamilton has wrapped up the F-1 title yet again.  Now it’s time to wrap up the nascar cup series at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Final Four are:

#2 Brad Keselowski

#4 Kevin Harvick

#18 Kyle Busch

#78 Martin Truex

Whomever finishes highest, wins the title.

Go #4!!!!

Tonight is the trucks championship on FS1, same format - highest finisher wins.  Tomorrow is the Xfinity Series final, on NBC, same format.

Great weekend for racing!

🏁🎉🏆🍾
