Hiya!...so where was the confounded bridge?

I think you will have to ask James Brown.

Aparently 'I could be wrong', The Crunge was a play on James Brown's "Sex Machine".

In "Sex Machine" James Brown say's "Take it to the bridge" a few times.

So because the Crunge has no bridge 'as far as I'm aware', this is why Robert Plant say's:

"Excuse me - Oh will ya excuse me - I'm just trying to find the bridge - Has anybody seen the bridge? - Please! - (Have you seen the bridge?) - I ain't seen the bridge! - (Where's that confounded bridge?)
