Some of the best Plexi clones are made by Germino and Metropoulos. http://www.germinoamplification.com/, http://plexireplicas.com/. If those are too expensive you can try Ceriatone or Trinity. They sound wonderful and I think I sound the most like JP than I ever have. Greg Germino is a great, easy-going guy to work with and knows his stuff when it comes to classic Marshall amps.
