lcondo123 Posted January 9, 2015 Share Posted January 9, 2015 My brother has acquired a Danelectro 59 12 string reissue, and is having problems with the action on the guitar. When you play any of the 12 strings on the first to fourth frets, there is no sound being made. The sound is completely muted and we don't know how to fix it. I'm no guitar aficionado and google doesn't seem to be rendering any help, so maybe the few wise Dano pros out there can give us some help. He got it online, so he's gonna have to take it up to the guitar shop near us and see if they can adjust the neck. Thanks for insight IpMan! No problem, also, if the guitar shop has any business sense they will adjust the neck for free, it's pretty simple for someone who knows what they are doing, just a bit time consuming. If not, the charge for a 12 string neck adjustment is about $40 - $60 depending on the store, if they want to charge more find another store. Good luck.
