For the final week of the regular season, Bong-Man, jb126, and Mrs. W, tied for the week's win. Detroit's loss was Bong-Man's gain. In the race for the Season Champion, not enough of my wacky picks panned out and I could not catch Junior for the season crown. Congratulations Junior!!!! Not only did I not catch Junior, but I finished last for the week, allowing jb126 to outflank me from behind and catch me for second place. Argh. In the last four years, jb126 has two season titles and two second-place finishes. She's better than any NFL prognosticator on TV! Once again, thanks to everyone for playing along and helping to make the NFL season fun and for making this one of the friendly and controversy-free threads in the Ramble On section. I will post the Week 17 numbers first, and then the final Season Standings with individual breakdowns. Yes, do what Strider suggested and make your picks. We know you wont pick the Lions. I am surprised they are getting as much love here as they are. I , myself had to pass on them. But i am going to bite with the points and buy them up to 13. If they cant cover 13, ouch. But they did "back in" Were 9-4 and lost last 3. Due to bad coaching and some due to the injury to their starting corner. The game they played in New Orleans is proof that on their best day they are plenty dangerous. And so are the Giants. Hell, I consider it a gift getting 4 1/2 AT Green Bay. I have no idea about that Miami/Pitt game. I just cant get a strong feeling on the spread pick.
