Mets win--still too early, I say, about nuking Terry Collins. The Season is not even a month old. Still got lots of games left to be played....

Those filthy useless little shits.  I take them and they lose.  I take Tehren because they got their ass's handed to them 23-5 and they come back and win.  Lesson learned.  Atlanta sucks.  The Mets?  We will see when they play a real team.  I am really disappointed that Nick Markakis has to play with those dirt bags.

My boys go into Fenway and Buck and Bundy take them apart.  Flaherty rarely plays left field and he lost a ball in the lights in the 8th that made the game more interesting than it should have been.  Big win because tomorrow we have  to face Sale.  And Sale is Sale.  He is a monster of a pitcher. Tillman was supposed to be readyy  Maybe end of the week.   Than God Britton returns tomorrow.  He would have put the Yankees away on Friday but we did return the favor and steal one on Sunday.  Cant wait until Tillman returns and hope he is like his old self.  I do think Bundy and Gausman are going to be the aces on this rotation.  Asher is listed tomorrow but I am not convinced that its written in stone.  We will see.  Machado had another game that prove just how valuable the guy is.  The ESPN  announcer went as far as to say he has the best arm he has ever seen at 3rd base.  The Yankee announcers on Sunday said he is above a top 5 player, stopping themselves just short of saying he is the best in the game.  i can think of nobody better in the field.  He can do it all.  The tape measure shot Friday nigh put any doubts to bed about his power.

Well needless to say I  guess, it will be an  interesting night at Fenway after the incident last night regarding Adam Jones.  A player that i have always loved and respected.  He did not deserve this type of treatment.  No way.  Hopefully it will be put to rest very soon.

As fo the game itself, which is not as important in comparison, Chris Sale will be going against us and he is one tough cookie.  Asher goes for the O's and he is a 5th man fill in, an ex Phily who pitched a monster of a game his first outing.  If we can get to the 7th and still be in the game, and that might be a big if with Sale, we might have a shot. For now, we are in first place.  I do believe we will be in this race.  Bad news on Castillo, our catcher hit the 10 day DL.  Joseph finally came through with a  huge hit last night and he will need to fill in. Pena was called up from the minors as backup.  When Pena first came up I thought he was going to be a sensation.  He hit a few homers the first week.  From the Penthouse to the dog house in a couple of days in this sport

Umps are putting the screws to us big time.   Gausman thrown out in  the 2nd inning for hitting Bogaarts on a 77 mph curve ball.  No warning.  Buck is on fire.  Adam Jones tossed for complaining while walking away from home plate.  Now the umps overturn Trumbo beating out an infield hit.  It was a tie which goes to the runner.  Jim Palmer said they do not have evidence to overturn but likely will the way the night is going.  These bastard Umps need to be discipolined by Torre.  This game has to be protested by the Orioles.  Its pure shit!!!!!!!:mad:

In case you are not aware, Chris Sale is looking at a ban.  He should be thrown out of baseball for trying to hit Manny Machado in the head last night.  Bastards

Now after an infield hit Betts takes one in the knee.  LOL.   Good

Offensive explosion tonight--don't know what the Nats are doing, but I hope someone can take a chunk out of their asses...

Well a kid vs Sherzer is likely not the one its going to happen in.  Kills me how you guys only post when your team wins.  Not you Paul.  One King that I know is reading.  This will teach you to let the Yankees have Holiday.  Ha.  Long season in store for your red birds.  You best change to black and orange.  Speaking of which, we got fucked royal in Boston by the Umps. They toss Gausman in the 2nd fucking inning, forcing us to use a kid up from AAA, and it was not justified.  The catcher, Joseph, and even Machado came over to plead his case.  The fucker did not even warn anyone.  It was a 77 mph CURVE BALL YOU DUMB ASS UMP. Joe Torre, fix this shit and do it now. First, kick Sale  out of society.  That skinny arrogant fuck needs to be sent to the salt mines.  So now Buck is going with Wilson tonight?  When Tillman we know is ready.  He has Miley.  What is he trying to do?  I know its only May 4th.  The Yankees do not.  They are playing every game like its Sept.  We need the bats to come out tonight an big time. Hit about 30 off that green monster.

Great game tonight.  Kicked their ass's.  Now the Yankees go to Wrigley.  Have fun!!!!  We have the White Sox and it would be a big mistake to take this team lightly.  They are one of the big surprises this year.   i will be surprised if we sweep them.  We have to dig in.  We will be home, and that helps. Buck just said he cant wait to see some friendly faces.  Can you blame him?  After the two series we just played?  No breaks.  The White Sox from the South side of Chi town can be as imposing as their cross town champs.  I am sure there is lots of competition going on in Chi town.  And lets not forget that even though the lineup was far different, the White Sox did win the World Series in 2003.  Konerko was one  of the best players in their stories history, going back to a guy named shoeless Joe Jackson.  The old Black Sox scandal.  One of my favorite movies, 8 Men Out.  Well I am sure they will have 9 men in, and we will have Tillman and Britton is back  now.  Pitched tonight and shut down the bitch ass Red Sox for the final outs.  Boston has some work to do to rebuild their rep.  I hope Sale gets the book thrown at his arrogant skinny ass

Forgot to mention and old friend pitches against us tomorrow.  Miguel Gonzalez.  My favorite when he was here.  We never should have let him and Chen and Arrietta get away.  Its just incredible.  We have Dylan Bundy now and he is all that was advertized.  He just had to overcome Tommy John.  I truly fear Miguel and his stuff

Offense busting out the last 2 nights--the problem is, the Nats keep winning. Too early to call it over--but at this rate--maybe the Wild Card is doable...

We will try and help with that tomorrow.  Tillman make his first start this year today  Bad news is Zach Britton is in California seeing a specialist to get a second opinion. MRI was negative.  I suspect the bad wether in Boston was no help with the soreness.  Needless to say they are not taking any chances with the best closer in the game. As for your "first Place" Yankees Walter, take a deep breath.  Its a half game and tomorrow mornings paper may reflect differently.  They have played well and finally beat a good team.  But they missed the Cubs good pitchers and were blessed with a guy they are likely going to release.  Even without Zach we continue to win.  So we know Boston is not going away either.  Price is coming back at some point and that will give them a shot in the arm.  It might be an old Baltimore, NY, Boston fight to the finish?  But I still say the weakness with the Yankees is two fold.  The bullpen is two guys.  Potances and Chapman who is only good for one inning.  And the back of their rotation sucks and Sabathia sucks.

Yankees youth rising to first place.  Loving it!

Tied for first. But surprising.  Boston is going to come for both of us when they get Price back.  Did not forsee the Blue Jays being this far out.  I still think the biggest weakness for Yankees besides their back end of rotation is that they only have Potances and Chapman, the one inning only wonder.  That will catch up with them eventually.  But right now we have Zach Britton to worry about.  If we get him back in good shape I think we are World Series material this year.  Because I am scared to death they wont pony the money up for Machado.  He is the most valuable player in baseball IMO.  Some think Harper

On the 5th they were in first and after they play tonight they should be again.

Yeah, you think they are going to win every game for the rest of the 162 game schedule I guess?  Right now it seems the Cubs are a mess along with the rest of that watered down division.  The real competition will be from my red hot Orioles and Houston.  And maybe Pauls Mets will get back into this fast.  I bet them tomorrow.  I think we will help them as Gausman is going against Gonzalez.  For some reason we are slight dogs.  Go figure.  We will beat them.  Help is on the way Paul.  Yankees go to Cincy next and I tell you they may prove to be tougher than the Cub.  I was going to pick them in the National league as my surprise tam, but Colorado has turned out to be good.  I say Colorado gets a wild card as the Dodgers will prevail.  I think the Dodgers will go to the Series vs my Birds. But do not forget about the Red Sox Walter.  And those White Sox were no easy out.  They can hit. Better than any team in that watered down NL central except the Cubs.

We have a tough series with Washington coming. I am hoping the news from LA on Britton is good?  We need him.  Houston is going to NY to play the Yankees soon.  We will get help then. They will  rip the Yankees

Yankees sweep the Cubs in Wrigley with an 18-inning thriller (that shouldn't have come down to that).  Always good to sweep the defending WS Champs on their home field!  Retiring Jeter's #2 during the homestand vs. the Astros coming up.  Onto the Reds for the time being....

The Yankees and Cubs are in for a long day and night  Ben Zobrist had the bases loaded and did not deliver.  But I blame the batter before him for screwing it up.  One bad thing for the Yankees is they learned just how vulnerable Chapman is.  He gets rattled easily.  So if you want to blame the game for going so long, look no farther than him.   My Orioles are right there.  1/2 a game back but a long long way to go.  Boston is 4 out but they are not going any where.  The Reds are no pushover.  They are in first place right now and can swing the bats. We have to play the big bad Nationals for 4 days.  Like our chances tonight with Gausman.  Next two days will be a bitch.   Sherzer and Strasberg.  But I think help might be on its way Paul.  Mets should romp today. I took them on my contest that I am going for 6 on.  Go O's!!!!!!

I don't know how they just found that out.  I saw it last year in the playoffs.  Who knows how it'll shake out, but I LOVE the direction this movement has the Yanks going in. Haven't been this interested in years and not just because of their current record.  But winning never hurts. ;)

Baseball is a beautiful game.  One can never predict how a certain team will do over the course of 162 games.

As for my team, the Saint Louis Cardinals, they were at the record of 3 wins and 9 loses during the first two weeks of the season .  Now they are currently in first place in the National League Central.

I know that anything can happen in Baseball, but it is fun to root for a team (Cardinals) that are always a team to be reckoned with.  There are only about 10-15 teams that you can say that about and the Saint Louis Cardinals are in the top 5 teams in that category.
