Was Hampton part of the cache of soundboards stolen by that crazy woman who house-sitted for Jimmy?

I don't think so... Both magazine editors Hugh (Proximity) and Andy ( Early Days& Latter days) are going in to detail with this specific Box of 'found'  Tapes from 1990. The house sitter is usually associated with the glut of 73, 80 SBs and some rehearsal tapes. The story depicted by Andy and Hugh is quite solid since their descriptions are so accurate (the handwriting on the 2" multi track reel boxes!!!! We mortals had to wait until the books incl. in the Super Deluxe boxes to verify it's existence). Both Andy's and Hugh's early 90's accounts have so much details, it never ceases to amaze me how thoroughly researched their stuff is. So, to answer your question ...the two Hampton 71 1/4" reels were part of a 7 (or 8?) tape collection consisting of 2" multi track and 1/4" reel to reel recordings. I've included the ED&LD and Proximity articles, courtesy of A.Adams and H.Jones.294353948_Scan2019-10-2507_43_241.thumb.jpg.958105dd1d45a12212da1318b390f361.jpg70343720_Scan2019-10-2507_43_242.thumb.jpg.07ff3cd9ec84aad8fb630ad0208960ae.jpg

I started a remaster of this show a while back but never finished. Here's a sample, based off the Flagge version- https://drive.google.com/open?id=1WhUQbv2eQfFfkhICCpcmXIMGjfa2yQbE

I haven't listened to the new releases but if you guys think it's any better I'll try to finish it.

I like it.  Sounds better and fuller than the versions I have.  Thanks.

You're welcome Walter. I forgot to mention that Andy Adams -in his  1990 'Lost & Found' article-  'predicted' the existence of the Long Beach 72 Moby Dick (along WIWSNB and Dancing Days) and the 100 minutes SB from Hampton 71, two years before their first actual outing on 'One More Daze''.
