RoundingRover
Anyone have, or could post, the last known picture of the band together (off stage)?
Michael/Hellbar
Must be someone who knows about the final photoshoots ?
Box of Jimmy's
I've never seen or heard about any off stage group photos right before or during the 80' Tour Over Europe. My guess is the group photo shoot in the field for ITTOD was the last off stage.
SteveAJones
^^^ This one was taken backstage at Knebworth: http://www.ledzeppelin.com/photos/led-zeppelin/1978-1980?page=3 ...and this one during tour rehearsals in May 1980: http://www.ledzeppelin.com/photos/led-zeppelin/1978-1980?page=23 The last known offstage photo is possibly them checking in or hanging out at a German hotel in Jun/Jul 1980. It's funny....during this photo shoot the band changed clothes a few times (Bonzo, for example, changed into a long sleeve dress shirt) . There is also the famous shot where Robert pulled his pants down enough to slightly reveal, shall we say, his package. I would imagine he is not happy with the fact that the photo is circulating on the net.
Box of Jimmy's
Yes, you're correct. I've always felt these photos reprsents the end; a real noticable decline in Jimmy and John's appearance while JPJ and Robert are looking pretty helathy. Still to this day I am surprised Robert continued on with Zeppelin after his son died.
