I think we should allow members of the site till  the end of this week to join if they want?  What say ye Paul and Strider and any others with an opinion?  We do not have many.  I welcome more to join.  So I say we leave the gate open until sometime next weekend.  I will defer to Paul to set the rule.  Hope he reads this.  I will pm him

^^ Sounds alright to me...

OK Paul, as you can see mission accomplished as Bonger is in and the King is comin.  Already have knots in my stomach watching this game.  WE get a gift blown pop fly and do not convert.   Gausman doing ok so no score.  I do do not know much about this Seth Smith? Think we got him from Seattle.  And Bongman has them in playoffs like me.  i think we are the only two that are believers so far.  He has his Tigers in so he is being loyal.  He has more faith in thm than the Lions.  That central is going to be hell with Cleveland and KC.

One day late.

American League:

East:  Boston Red Sox

Central:  Cleveland Indians

West:  Texas Rangers

Wild Card:  Houston Astros - Detroit Tigers

________________

National League:

East:  New York Mets

Central:  Saint Louis Cardinals

West:  Los Angeles Dodgers

Wild Card:  Washington Nationals - San Francisco Giants

I will admit that I very much dislike all the teams that I picked for the National League besides, of course, the Saint Louis Cardinals and the New York Mets.

Sorry, Rick, but I still think that your Baltimore Orioles are a team that is good, but not good enough to take it to the Top Level.

Quite all right King. Anyone that leaves the Cubs out of the playoffs has to be off their rocker or simply going with their heart all the way.   I am not crazy enough to leave them or Boston out of it.  I mean, do you really think the Cubs will not make the playoffs?

You are right.

I am going to make this change:

National League Wild Card:  Washington Nationals - Chicago Cubs.  (No San Francisco Giants).

All my other picks remain the same.

Yes you are correct  When your guy gets thrown out at the plate on what would have been the game winner it throws you off.  But we won.  First time in 20 years the Orioles have had the best record in the Bigs this "late".  Even though its mighty early. The big picture is looking good because of our starting rotation.  Britton being the only downer but at least we know we will have him back before the all star game.
