Although their influence is well known, it is not well documented and as such is hard to find evidence. The Beasties boys used it on one of their albums which is a momentous album in rap history. In fact go see any use of samples that is a key indicator of their influnce. Also go and research all the huge bands of the 80's saying their influence is Led Zeppelin. Gigantic bands i.e Aerosmith, KISS, Van Halen and GNR.
