Does anyone know anything about these shirts or have any pictures of any Band and/or Crew Members wearing these shirts? I think only 8 or 12 were made.....4 for the band and 4 for VIP Swan Song or Crew Members, and each had their names embroidered on one of the sleeves.

I believe Jimmy wore one onstage on the final date of the 1975 USA tour on 27th March at The Forum in Inglewood,Los Angeles.

Here`s a picture of Jimmy`s one from the "Vintage Swag" section of the official website  http://www.ledzeppelin.com/photos/memorabilia/vintage-swag?page=2

Product Description

In 1975 Led Zeppelin released Physical Graffiti a double-LP. It was very popular as it hit #1 on the charts. A super size American tour was played to feature the music on the album.

This American style red, white and blue custom hockey jersey is just like the one guitarist Jimmy Page wore on the last night of the 1975 tour. It features stitched white cursive lettering across the verso nameplate area, “Jerry Weintraub – Concerts West Presents”. Large block letters (sewn-on) present,  “Led Zeppelin American Tour 1975.” The front chest sports two white patches with blue lettering including a circular Swan Song and other art design on the opposite side.

The original crew member’s (owner) name “Jeff” is stitched on a patch on the right sleeve. These jerseys are extremely rare as they were a limited edition from the promoter (Concerts West). They were only given to the band members and a few of the VIP crew.

Black lacquer engraved plaque (as provenance) reads, “JEFFERY P. BENNETT – 1975 – SEX, DRUGS & ROCK N’ ROLL – 1995 MAYOR CITY OF CORONA.”

The provenance letter from Bennett details the origin, “I received my 1975 Tour Jersey from John Bonham who I worked with and the other members of the band from 1972-1977. It was a gift for all I had done during my tenure. A few more were also given out I believe a total of 8 were made.”

Brain freeze moment.  Sam, Steve, is this Jeff, wearing an example of the jersey from '75?

I believe that is Danny Goldberg, to whom the photo is credited.

Anyway, Jeffery Bennett is not known for his honesty: http://activerain.com/blogsview/2361764/ex-corona-mayor-found-guilty-of-lying-to-the-fbi

However, he did apparently post a comment concerning another jersey, which he called a fake:

The profile photo of the commentator does match that of Bennett: http://unclejoe.com/onair/miller2.htm

as a NYC kid, going to Cosby's was almost like going to see Zep. It was one of the few shops where you could get AUTHENTIC Knicks/Rangers(that's the original Rangers Hockey club jersey w/ the zep tags) pro teams gear. Expensive as hell they were.

Oh yeah, man ! Back in the mid-60s, we used to take the Subway in from Jamaica right to the old Cosby's in the old MSG on 50th & 8th. A Ranger jersey like that was an outrageous $6.25, way out of the league for unemployed teenagers like us. They also had Rangers players' sticks for sale, which were also out of our price range. Still, amazing to see all the pro equipment our Ranger heroes used. We would then walk down to Paragon on Broadway & 18th & buy Converse All Stars for $5.99.  They were $7.99 - $8.49 out on the Island at the time, so even with the bus 35¢ & subway fare 15¢ each way, we still saved a buck fitty.

I`m English so I don`t know much USA sport history Zep Head, but were the current NY Rangers Ice Hockey club originally a field Hockey club?

Not at all. They came into existence because Madison Square Garden President Tex Rickard wanted a National Hockey League franchise of his own for the Garden.

an official NHL hockey puck, early 70/'71 $4 and change, Mom, Dad, can I get an allowance raise? I remember getting a pair of Thom Mcan converse (remember those?) bc the regular cons were almost $15 !!!... ok, $14.99. Anyway, I'd take the Woodlawn station or the 241st/white plains rd. EL to manhattan from westchester co. Those were grrrrrreat times to be a kid. Everyone says that about their "time" growing up, but I MEAN IT... j/k Peace my man, thanks for the trip on the memory lane local.

P.S. Clyde Puma's, still my fave style sneaker ever.

Hockey stuff will ALWAYS be expensive! I remember when U2 played Chicago a few years ago. This was right after the Hawks won the cup, and there was an official Hawks store near the UC. We stopped in and they had a green hockey sweater with "Bono" on the back retailing for IIRC close to $300!

$3 large for a jersey? dang me. Gotta admit, the Blackhawk jersey is ICONIC, worth every cent.
