'68. .What songs did they work on and were they all together on certain songs? I dont think they wrote anything but whats it sound like? Is it obvious that its the boys? Steve A Jones could probably give you exact dates, but it was recorded between the first rehearsal (19th Aug '68) and departure for the Scandinavia gigs (6th Sept), and not released till the following year. I think there must have been several different sessions spread over a while, as there are other instrumentalists e.g. Clem Cattini credited, as well as the four of them. Jim's Blues is recognisably Zep, and sounds halfway between an early version of You Shook Me & I Can't Quit You Babe. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
