SilverVishnu
Guitar That's a start. I hope he pulls the old double-neck out, along with the dragon suit and theremin. The first one isn't such a distant possibility I guess...

rawtonevolekam92
Les Paul imo but if you watch one of their shows on a dvd (i wasnt around to see em before) you'll notice he plays on a bunch of different guitars it all depends on the song they are playing
mor7mx
The Les Paul has a diferent sound from the other guitars. I guess it's due to the pickups, but also because the body of the guitar is heavier. Les Paul is a good option because of its peculiar sound, however, whatever Jimmy chooses to play will sound awsome, I'm sure about it!
oziumrules
Im sure he will pull both guitars out depending on the songs played.
obscured
Im sure he will pull both guitars out depending on the songs played. Agree But I would want to see him use the Les Paul first at the start of the show!
sam.e138
I'm not going. But I hope to hear that he whipped out the old Black & White Danelectro and a slide for "In My Time Of Dying"! Led Zeppelin for Glasgow 2008! Sam.E.
redeyedrichard
Les Paul definitely. However it does depend on the setlist as to whether he will whip the other axe out! If they play In The Evening for instance. And I sure hope the double neck puts in an appearance, not that I will be there to apprieciate it though!! foran
Gotta be the Les Paul. I think it personifies Jimmy and his sound.
HARPER
...best!! No. For real: he should play both. It really depends on the song. I wouldn't be surprised if for the O2 show he has 3-4 different guitars in rotation.
GetTheLedOut
I'm hoping to see an appearance of the cream Stratocaster which would go along great with a live "Ten Years Gone"
Chicken
Guitar I've certainly invisioned the Les Paul. He couldn't not, really. I'm sure the doubleneck will make an appearance too. And possibly the Danelectro.
Lord_Stoads
It's going to be Les Pauls most of the way, surely? On a vaguely related not, did anyone hear how weak Cream sounded at their reunion gig? Eric Clapton should have stayed with Gibson....

I doubt that Clapton performed poorly because he did not play a Gibson.
Lord_Stoads
I doubt that Clapton performed poorly because he did not play a Gibson. He didn't play badly, just....politely. Cream were not a polite-sounding band.
BlackDog71
I would have to say the Gibson, but he's Jimmy Page.....he can play whatever he wants.
Ramci
I can always send a threat message if he doesn't play with his Danelectro! ~
Trashbag
Jimmy could come out there with a tissue box and rubber bands and I don't think anybody would care. But yeah, I'm sure the Les Paul #1 will be his primary one. Along with the EDS - 1275 and (maybe) his Danelectro.
J. M. Smig
From the new issue of Guitar World: GW: Are you using your original gear? PAGE: I'm using some of the original guitars like my number-one Les Paul and the Doubleneck. I've got a Les Paul Custom that I'm pleased with. I haven't settled on what amps I'm using yet, but I'll be using the pedal board that I used on all the Plant/Page projects. The Les Paul Custom is featured in a sidebar article. It's a replica of the 1960 Custom that got stolen. You can see the original one in the Albert Hall concert. The major difference is it has a custom toggle switch that allows for extra pickup configurations. It's got a Bigsby too. Sweet!

Seeing him play that on the 2003 DVD inspired me to put a Bigsby on my SG. I'm glad he replaced it. If I had to choose one guitar to see him play, it would be that Les Paul, but I'd really like to see him play a variety of different ones, including the double neck and the Danelectro. There are certain songs that require the Danelectro sound.
