a couple days ago here in No. CA we had 1" of snow that didn't "stick" (foothills to the Sierra outside Sacramento)..today is just cold and drizzly

Im in Los Angeles,near Hollywood and Vine.The weather is nice sunny but cold.

Minus the sprouting leaves, it feels like April outside...

not the end of December.


Weatherman says its gonna be 65 next week.

Reminds me of this time last year..sitting in my backyard in shorts drinking a rum runner and reading Hemingway. indeed.

Here, about 70 miles east of Los Angeles (Lake Elsinore), it's cloudy and chilly, chilly of course being a relative term when you're from Southern California. I'm wearing a sweater indoors, but I have the windows wide open (go figure). What can I say? I'm a smoker who lives with a non-smoker, so I make her shiver while providing her fresh air! :lol:

Sunny today, but it has been SO cold the last few days. That sort of cold that just sinks right into your bones and you can't get warmed up again until you've had like a whole pot of coffee. It sucks. I am SO ready for spring, and we haven't even hit our worst winter month yet. January is usually the coldest, and also has the most snow.

It's dark, dreary and freezing. I just went to get my slippers. I have on socks, slippers, jeans, a t-shirt and a sweatshirt. I also happen to be really cold. We have heat, but mom doesn't turn it up very high.
