Pb Derigable Posted February 18, 2008 Share Posted February 18, 2008 Yeah me too. I one time saw a guy do the keyboard part on a bass and i thought it would be a cool way to cover it. I wanted to mix in part's of the album version, TSRTS version, and the cover of no quarter by tool. Start off on the bass, but then go really heavy like tool into the verses, then do a jam part like TSRTS. I know Guitar World (or Player) does tabbed live version of thier songs, and i though i saw TSRTS No Quarter live up there. I have bad pitch so i just need the chord progession for the bass part. I'm using his site to learn the NQ live solo, but I can't really learn it note for note, so I thought I'd just use some of the main licks and improvise to fill in the gaps.
