if the band went on tour because they felt it was their duty then the shows would not be good. they'd be playing because they had to, without their hearts truly in it. so despite the fact i desperately want to see them i only want to if its something they all really want to do. because only then will the music be at its best!

I agree, and that's why I said they'll make the right decision. If they don't want to do any more shows or if their hearts are not truly with it they shouldn't do it and I also think they wouldn't do it then. But secretly I hope that they'll be totally blown away by it and that they truly want to go on!

But they're still real people with their own free will. As much as we love them we are not in the position to give them orders. If they don't want to do it, and even if it's just Robert, it's their right to do so. Forcing people to something isn't fun and I doubt the outcome of this would be as great as we'd expect it to be. I'm convinced that the O2 will be great because they want to do it, not because it's "just" a reunion. Why don't you rather hope that they'll be so moved by the whole gig that they really want to go on instead of saying they should no matter what?

well the problem with trying to convince Robert, or anyone in the group for that matter, is that each one of them are in the best position to make the decision.

I'm sure there's not much we can say as fans to Robert that could change his mind. The reason is that he already knows everything we would tell him.

For pity's sake, they're at the age that any hard working individual should be given the right to retire and enjoy the fruits of their labors in peace, yet they continue to be vital, creative musicians. It's Plant and JPJ that have carried on the Zep torch of "Ever Onward", while our beloved Mr Page rests firmly in the lazy boy chair of his past. Sad but true.

Once again, Poor Led Zep. They have millions who will pay homage whether or not they tour. And if they don't I'm not going to be any less a fan. He strikes me as person who doesnt like to be pushed. Keep insisting and it just might backfire on you and there will never be a tour. He has every right to feel this way. The pressure to pull off 02 must be tremendous. I would definitely go see them if they toured but it would be insane and childish to demand that they give me what I want.
