The only one on the list that is technically a ballad is All My Love, though they are all melodic. I believe Zep only did two ballads, In The Light and All My Love and of those two ITL is my favorite.

Thank You, Rain Song, Since I've Been Loving You, my three favorite songs in order (perferably live, though studio hits the spot from time to time..). :D

Bron-Yr-Aur although Going to California is a close runner

Voted The Rain Song even though my Wedding Reception, I had Bron-Yr-Aur as our "walk in" music ("And introducing, Mr and Mrs...") for the wedding party.

The Rain Song is by far their best ballad. One of the best of anyone.

I wouldn't consider Over the Hills and Far Away as a ballad or melodic. just the very early section

Bron-Yr-Aur. It's so calming, and there's also a version they did while in Bron-Yr-Aur where Carmen is laughing in tha background She's about 16 months old, and it's so cute. Robert also does some humming, and there's also drums (without symbols or bass drum or snare.)

You can hear it here!
