  1. I like the theme from Mash, The Mary Tyler Moore show, The Rockford Files, Hawaii Five O, Home Improvment. Just off the top of my head, I am sure there must be lots more good ones.
  2. Wow! That performance of Space Child is just totally great. I would love to get a copy of that on compact disc so I could play it over and over and over etc.
  3. I dont know if Led Zeppelin made the right decision to break up after John Bonhams untimely death. But that is the decision they made and should be respected. Maybe they could have recruited another drummer and gone on to more great success, but that did not happen and therefore we will never know. I guess all I am trying to say is they hopefully made the right decision for themselves, they sure did seem to follow the golden rule of showmanship....always leave them wanting more.
  4. Buffalo, 10.30.69. To bad the recording ran out half way through How Many More Times. Good show. Northstar.
  5. Led Zeppelin, February 1, 1969, Fillmore east. New York.
  6. "Dont let the fact that everyone else is doing it wrong stop you from doing it right" Quote (at least by me) unknowen
  7. Back in the 1970's my friend and I each had eight track player's that would also record. We would buy the blank eight track tapes at the local record store, I remember the blank tapes were always made out of red coloured plastic, I dont remember how long the blank tapes were or if you could even buy them in different lengths for that matter. I saved all my paper route money to buy the stereo, it was a Sears brand stereo, it came with a turntable, radio AM FM tuner and a recordable/player eight track as well as two speakers. Northstar.
  8. Just listened to the first half (disc #1) of the 1971 Orlando sound board. Great stuff. More board tapes please. Northstar.
  9. Just listened to Cleveland July 20, 1969 for the very first time. Really good show, like how plant got the crowed laughing near the end of How Many More Times, also this is the earliest I have ever heard that cool intro (dont know if it has a name) for How Many More Times that is common in late 69 and the 1970 performances of the song. Northstar.
  10. For myself it would have to be the Rain Song musically, and Thank You lyrically. Northstar.
  11. I just had a great time listening to the show from the Fillmore East, January 31, 1969. I really love the explosive electric blues that Zeppelin hits the audience with and stuns them....shock and awe at its best. Northstar.
  12. Finished the second disc of the June 28, 1970 Bath show. Thats the second time now that I have listened to the Bath show and I really think its a good performance. Also had time to listen to the soundboard fragment from the Bradford St George's Hall show, January 18th, 1973....some real nice tight playing for sure. Northstar.
  13. I just finished listening to the first disc of the June 28th 1970 Bath concert. Good show so far, interesting to hear the early arrangements/lyrics of the new songs. Kind of gutsy to open with the Immigrant Song when the lyrics were not quite set in stone yet. Northstar.
  14. This afternoon while working in my office I listened to the Jan 27 1973 Dundee, Scotland soundboard. I had not listened to this in a long long time, it was really great to hear it again. Northstar.
  15. Just finished watching the last night of the 1975 Earl's Court concert. I really enjoy the Earl's Court string of concerts. Northstar.
  16. Some real cool footage, Love the Headley Grange stuff. At about 1:49 on the Headley Grange footage do you think that black dog could be the inspiration behind the name of the song Black Dog? Northstar.
