  1. Your Led Zeppelin Time Machine (with a twist!)

    Carnegie Hall!
  2. The Song Remains the Same - Upcoming screenings

    Damn, well played!
  3. My personal remaster of Trampled Underfoot from 5/24/75

This TUF is one of my all time favorite live Zep moments. Just spectacular. This and STH from the same night-if we get these on this live project later this year... yeah, that's what I want.
  4. Good post. Love Plant's voice in 79. Don't know if I like it more than 69-71 or even 72, but yeah, it's different, in a good way. And very strong. If we get TUF and STH from 5/24/75 I'll be a very, very happy man.
  5. Just imagine seeing Bonzo laying down the drum track to WLL... Oh my... Not sure what's all included in that LZII studio film, but it looks like it is legit. Getting that would be phenomenal.
  6. Zep II Studio Footage... YES PLEASE. Montreux 72 Footage... DOUBLE YES PLEASE! Those were supposedly very HOT shows.
  7. Well, if we get STH and TUF from 5/24/75 (even just the audio of it) it's a MAJOR win, as far as I'm concerned. I'd never get sick of listening to those two tracks in ok "sbd" quality, let alone pristine multi-track quality. Throw a best of Japan 71 in there as HTEWW and shit... I might just lose my mind. It really is a great interview. I've gotten to really love listening to him. This and the Oxford interview/lecture are fantastic.
  8. Suspicions

How about 10/28 and 10/29/72 in Montreux? Man, would I love to hear those shows!!
  9. Suspicions

    Yeah. Extremely silly.....
  10. Suspicions

Bonzo certainly plays like he knows he's being recorded... I will say that. This is one of my all-time favorite shows, just due to him. He is spectacular throughout. That said, I highly doubt this was multi-tracked....
  11. Next Soundboard Release

I'd love to have another April 77 soundboard.
  12. Trentham Gardens '73 was Multi Tracked

Just speculation on my part. Rarely does Bonham's snare sound this clean and crisp...
  13. Trentham Gardens '73 was Multi Tracked

To me Bonham's drums sound just like they did the night before in Liverpool. They sound good, but nothing like his drums sound on the 3/7/70 Montreux show we now have. Now THAT one sounds like a direct mix-down from a multi-track to me.
  14. What next? AGAIN

All I want are the Japan tapes and pro audio of TU and STH from 5/24/75. And maybe Louie-Louie/Thank You from 6/25/72. I'd never ask for another Zep related item EVER again.
  15. Live better than Studio

    Yes! Yes! YES!
  16. The Rain Song

    Great post, George! Totally agree.
  17. How much of that 2nd source exists? Of course, the Millard recording is glorious and one of the All-Time Greats, but this 2nd source isn't bad. Would love to hear it if more exists. Very interested in finding it if anyone knows.
  18. 1972 and 1973 Shows

It is indeed a killer show. Where's the SBD of it??!!
  19. 1972 and 1973 Shows

June 15, 1972 Nassau. Just blistering. The crashing opening of Immigrant Song is just devastating. This and the previous night-2 of my SBD holy grails. You can't go wrong with any of the 1972 NA shows. I love the Montreal show as well, which is usually over looked. May 1973 is also killer. Especially Mobile. Slick and professional-the playing just does not get much better than that.
  20. John Davis is "Mastering" Led Zeppelin

Hard-pressed to find any real flaws from any show from the 72 NA tour. Every time I listen to the complete audience source of 6/25/72 I'm amazed at just how perfect it is. I know we have HTWWW, but I'd kill to have that show, complete, including all the encores. Just doesn't get any better.
