  1. While browsing through eBay for Zep stuff you'll find a lot of off-beat items.Thought I'd make a thread about some of the more strange or downright ridiculous ones we come across. Or items that are cool, but you just can't convince yourself to buy.
  2. Hi, sorry if this post is considered spam or off-topic, but I have an interesting item listed on ebay right now, and thought that Led Zeppelin fans might be interested in it. It's Fred Gerlach's personal copy of Lead Belly's "Negro Sinful Songs" 78 rpm album, from which he learned the song "Gallows Pole." In turn, Jimmy Page heard Gerlach's version of the song, and was inspired by it to create Led Zeppelin's version. So, while this isn't literally a Led Zeppelin item, I feel it has some Zep mojo attached to it, since in a way their "Gallows Pole" can be traced back to this particular copy of Lead Belly's record. www.ebay.com/itm/381202023884 Again, my apologies if this is a bit of a stretch for some of you. I just didn't know how else to alert Zeppelin fans to this obscure item. peahix
