Why would you want a band that sounds like Zeppelin? Whatever happened to originality?

True, but the songs I've heard by them (which I'm fairly sure are just the hits) are well written.

zebra???? are these guys for real? or is it a piss take?

I've never heard of them... and to be fair... how can any led zeppelin fan take that music seriously?

That really is embarrassing on a zeppelin forum.

I've heard of Zebra. They were actually quite popular when they first came out.

According to the above clip,

Zebra's debut sold faster than Led Zeppelin's debut.

Whitesnake (around that 1987 album).

Their late 80s (1987 I think) self titled album always seemed to be a song by song ripoff of Led Zeppelin IV.

the rover/battle of evermore/immigrant song/black dog. i hold them in the highest regard of zep worshiper bands.

Influenced by Zeppelin, obviously. If a Zeppelin fan can watch this and not at least appreciate it, something is wrong.

They don't sound like Zep in a rip off kinda way, it's just reminiscent and fantastic.

Sorry about the poor audio quality, I just think it's a great clip anyway -

I can't say I think of them as a "worshiper" band as they took those influences and made them their own. Something that can't be said of a lot of bands that amounted to nothing more than just "Led Clones".

None whatsoever, some have tried, many have failed. If it's not Led Zeppelin, it's not Led Zeppelin.
