Pretty soon you will have people that wanna talk about Jesus walk up to you when you are at the mall buying/wearing a Led Zeppelin t-shirt lol (happens to me a lot). You just have to come up with a smart as answer. It's funny because I am Catholic and I love to piss off and freak the shit out of people that do that to me. One time this lady came up to me and said "That Led Zeppelin is the Devil's music." I said "No ma'am. It's God's music." She gasped and my friends and laughed and walked away. I was just raving about one goth, Sofi Oksanen, in another thread here earlier today. She is the most prestigious young author in my country right now, and even numerous Christian senior citizens hold her in high esteem and love her work. Oh! I love Goths! Many of my friends are goth! I just got tired of people annoying me about it (some really jumped the gun to go ahead & ask me Why I was goth, when I wasn't goth to start with). It's just all stereotypes & prejudices. It was always the 'preps and jocks' pissing me off. Someone who knows what Goth really is would know that I'm not goth. Have you ever seen a Goth with a tan? Saw "Twillight", is this what Goth has come to, sensitive "vegetarian" vampires with Romeo complex's? I realize the movie & books are basically a depressed, overly romantic, black lipstick wearing chubby teenage girls' ideal fantasy of what love & life could be, but that was really the worst movie I ever sat through (and don't tell me that the books are better because that's like comparing shit to vomit). It was really awful. Give me Ally Sheedy in "The Breakfast Club" anyday.
