Al Pacino vs. Robert DeNiro

Two roles that both Pacino and DeNiro did which truly showcases their range and brilliance is Panic in Needle Park & Glengarry Glen Ross for Pachino; A Bronx Tale & Casino for DeNiro. Pacino does crazy well, and DeNiro the tough guy, but these roles present these actors completely out of their respective wheelhouses and they both shine.

Bonus points for Scarecrow & You Don't Know Jack for Pacino; The Wizard of Lies & Beat the Drum Slowly for DeNiro.

Someone mentioned Eastwood earlier, another great actor who does not get the credit he deserves. His performance in The Beguiled was creepy and prevented; his performance in Play Misty for Me sublime and reserved.

Here is Al Pacino at today's filming in Hollywood of "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood", the new Quentin Tarantino film. And a shot of Brad Pitt and Leo DiCaprio.

I have no use for Brad Pitt.  None.  Pacino vs De Nero is a  lame title for this thread.  They are friends and this is not a contest.   They are both legends in the film industry.  But so is Steve McGueen and Clint Eastwood.  Maybe its an Italian thing?  Pacino sure does not care how he looks.  Kind of like Ron Howard.  A guy with a boatload of money that does not even get a topee or take off that silly fucking baseball cap with some trucking company emblem on it.  If I had his money do you think I would present myself like that in public?  Fuck no.
