Friends, Aussies, Countrymen. Roll up, roll up it's nearly time again. What predictions? Will the English repeat the disaster of 3 years ago? Will the Aussies regain the Urn? Who will be the Dogs Bollocks and who will be the Cats arse?

 My prediction:

England win 2 -1 with a couple of draws

I reckon 2-2, we retain the Ashes. Brisbane a draw, England win Adelaide & Sydney, Australia win Perth & Melbourne.

Not too many voices from Down Under? Worried? Even ex players from The Aussies are not exactly confident. Can't say I've even heard of a few players. I may change my prediction: England to win 4-0

Worried? You wish, CP!? :)

England are a bit light on as far as their bowling attack.

England have won the toss (probably the only thing they'll win) :) and are batting first.

First ball only moments away.

As for Maxwell he is only on standby. Both Warner and Marsh are playing.

Can't believe you can't watch it free to air, CP! It's so popular there !!!

Alistair who?

😛

Crowley !

No free to air at all. Nothing. Of course the radio has commentary but no visuals. Honours even at the moment 159 for 3. Not sure about our bowling Reggie?? I think we look pretty strong but we will see how we use the Kookaburra.

Day 2.

I haven't watched today only following online and radio.

England all out for 302 before lunch.

Last 6 wickets fell for only 56 runs.

Now to see how the Pommy bowlers and our new opener Cameron Bancroft fares.

Not very well. Out for 5.

eeemmmm batting collapse again. Still a few positives and negatives.  A draw most favourable

The pitch leaves a lot to be desired.

A little bit for the bowlers and not much for the batters.

He was overawed I think and lacked patience. Out from a poor shot off an average ball.

Hopefully the weather holds and we get a result one way or another.

England all out in their second innings.

Australia need 169 runs to win in four sessions. Smith playing for a draw? Never.

Fourth highest run chase target in the history of the GABBA. I reckon it’s easily achievable though. Pissed off though that the English bowlers have to try and pull the batsmen out of a hole again.

Brisbane. Check.

On to Adelaide.

Rubbish from us. Fancy falling for the old Aussie sledging?

Didn't see the state of the pitch Reggie as it is not on TV. Couldn't have been that bad as you didn't lose a wicket in your 2nd innings or unless we bowled badly.

I still fancy us to do well at some point. I think this day/night test in Adelaide will be interesting. The ball may misbehave under the lights and that may give us a chance.
