Thank you Germany for great women (I'm with one) great beer, great science and arts, things that run properly and gorgeous little towns and scenery.

Germany is a wonderful and relatively unknown tourist destination that thankfully isn't spoiled by much outside tourism like many other places in Europe.

Some of my favourite places in Germany:

And yes the people are very friendly when you get to know them and they most certainly DO have a good sense of humour. The Germans are very much like the British with their love for football, beer and with being a warrior nation. I feel the Germans are closer to the British than say, the French or Spanish or Italians etc are.

Hi Mangani,

Is you Lady ever a Sour Kraut? :o;):lol: No offence mate.

Your pictures are so cool, and I thought the RAF bomber the hell outta Germany, I'm sure glad they didn't.

I thank Germany for being more Arrogant than the English, that's a very big accomplishment to be sure. :yesnod:

Kind Regards, Danny

Nope. No offence taken. :)

My German missus loves England even more than me. Nothing sour about her at all. Very cheery chapess.

No, only the parts that Heineken couldn't reach. Oh sorry Heineken was Dutch. Oooops.

I'm sure glad they didn't.

Germany is beautiful..........and unspolied by British and Scandinavian sunseekers.

That's why we are both so similar. We both know we are great.

No? we are Great, Germany is Gross, :o and I know you Fraulein will know exactly what I mean. ;)

I've been to Germany many times, at one time in my life I wished I was a German, my dad even put up a sign over my bedroom which read, "DANGER" he said it meant "DAN the GERman" :lol:

I attended a Ju Jitsu seminar in 1989 in Malente in Northern Germany near the lakes, a great time was had by all and what a great part of the country to visit. I pulled a classic in Hanover where we stopped for some petrol and a break from driving by heading in to a bar and ordering four lagers in me best Cockney accent, the look on the locals faces was a picture. :D

Regards to Frau Mangani, Danny the DANGERIOUS

A lot of brilliant minds:

Albert Einstein - scientist

Beethoven - composer :notworthy:

Bach - composer

Immanuel Kant - philosopher/political theorist

Friedrich Nietzsche - philosopher/political theorist

Frierich Engels - philosopher/political theorist

Karl Marx - philiosopher/political theorist (whatever your personal views may be of his ideas, which were greatly distorted by communist states, he was still a genius and an original thinker) ;)

Thank you Germany for, naming your Tanks after Big Cats, Very Cool Tiger. :lol:

Not just 'big cats' (Tiger, Panther, Leopard, Lynx, Puma ) but also:

Elefant = elephant

Nashorn = rhino

Hornisse/Hummel = hornet/bumble bee.

Brumbaer = bear.

Maus = mouse.

The Jerries liked naming their AFVs after the animal world in general.
