Any time now.....

I think he's stoked about the 3/21/75 soundboard. I would be too, if I were him. Hell, you know Jimmy's gonna obtain it somehow, even if he already has a version.

Thats my two cents

Robert Plant draws a pretty big crowd in my home state, but he always seems to be pretty tight, as does anyone he plays with since 2000. IMO.

Just so you know folks - and apologies to any relevant webmasters/mistresses reading this - but you can still access Plant's website if you add "/news" to the URL. It's not updated since March. Curiously, if you click on "Road" (touring) it reverts to the "any time now" message. So mysterious but then we all like a bit o' enigma eh?

"My name is Bob, Bob O'Enigma"

It seems the internet is all excited about a "possible Led Zeppelin reunion" based on Plant's "Any time now..." page. Yeah, because I'm sure THAT'S what it means. Sounds like that "fake news" I hear so much about.

I doubt that he knows or cares about any bootleg release, one thing is for certain "Any time now" has nothing to do with 21 March 1975. It's not about an Oldchella "reunion" either...

If you look at the touring schedule for Skin's other band Cast there are gaps in the schedule so a UK tour could be fitted in to promote a new LP. The site being down would indicate a redesign to archive and promote Robert and any new project. .

That's exactly what it means. He will be touring soon. No reunion is coming!

Talking of fake news, look at the comments attached to the NME article, and you'll see the most bizarre theory as to why Plant has been against the idea of a Zep reunion. When I was younger we used to say about a far fetched idea "must be true, bloke down the pub said it". Nowadays it's "Must be true, it's on the internet".

The sad part is that if/when the Led Zep rumours turn out to be false; Robert will get a kicking for something that was never a reality in the first place. .

One way Robert can get ahead of this rumor if its not true is to release a quick  statement along the lines of "nothing to do with Zeppelin" and leave it like that. Then no one can legitimately complain about it.  This has been gaining traction for about a week now, he can shut it down pretty fast if he wants.

OTOH Since the O2 there has been the guest spot at the 2008 Foo Fighters Wembley gig; Roy Harper in 2011 (acoustic only iirc), and the "several guitarists on stage" jam at Seattle in Dec 2015

No reason to do that since it keeps him in the public eye even if for a completely different reason (a new SSS album and tour perhaps). .

I do believe he would have realized that putting such a cryptic message on his website would certainly lead to immense speculation re Zeppelin. He is not a stupid man. I do not believe he would have put any such message just for a new album from him, the message has too much of a portentous feel. Until he definitely says it's not Zeppelin related then I will continue to believe the hype.
