2017 NFL "potted plant" Memorial Pool

It's that time of year football fans!

Preseason is finally over and Week 1 of the 2017 Regular Season begins next Thursday. We have been doing this for five years now, so everyone should know the drill by now. If any newcomers wish to join in the contest, please do...the more the merrier. No worries about the point spread. Just pick the team you think will win the game.

Please remember to get your Thursday pick in before the Thursday game kicks off. All the other games for the week can wait until Saturday...Sunday morning before kickoff at the latest.

Walter Junior was the Regular Season winner last year. Mrs. W won the Playoff Pool.

Spread the word to your friends and neighbors. Let's get a good crowd of participants this year and let's have some fun! Of course, if your team signed Jay Cutler as QB, fun may be hard to come by. ;)

Best of luck to you all.

Your insight was spot on.  Miami game is not going to be played in Miami. Not that their fans are worth a shit anyway  I mean, they never draw or sell out.  I would play the game in Tampa and honor the Dolphin fans that have tickets.  Or Jacksonville?  As they are on the road.  But the travel from Miami is at least a 6-7 hour drive to those cities.  I think actually 6 ish to Tampa.  The 75 to the 4?

Bet Us, a reputable sports site, has a buy in Eliminator contest in football, $10, $25, $50, $100 buy ins.  I won last year a share of the pool.  Paid good.  And with a "Mulligan" as I had one loss in last week.  If you join, its Bet Us, 888-512-3887.  Please us me reference number 566039 so I can get some points.  You do have to join and make one deposit.  $50 minimum.  They will give you a bonus.  All sports available.  Hockey and baseball and soccer are my favorite to bet on.  $5 parlays that pay good.

Now that Taylor has been announced to start the Bills went from 7 point favorites to 11.  No respect for Jets.  Pittsburgh is only team being picked more than Buffalo so far.  I think Atlanta is the stone cold lock of the week.  I used Bills and Carolina in my $10 and $25 buy ins.

Yes, the Tampa Bay @ Miami game has been postponed to Nov. 19 due to Hurricane Irma. Don't worry, your picks for that game are not locked in stone. You can change your pick the week of the game if you so desire.

She as in Brady?

Well she kicks your ass in the pool every year so we might as well call her Brady, haha. She owns you like Brady owns the Bills.

Thanks. It's a deal. I assume you mean the Jets by 'Toronto East'?

Toronto East is Buffalo. Toronto Southeast didn't quite provide the ring to my ears, and Syracuse West... well.
This is all to propel our buddy Rick's team deep into the post season.

Glad to read jb126 is with us! This place wouldn't be the same without her.

Glad you explained that cause I was thinking New York all the way. Toronto is often used to represent New York in films, since it is cheaper to film there. So, New York could jokingly be called Toronto East.
