i love this! google the whiskey in LA and walk down sunset with the camera....

below is from another thread and includes american sites not on the google landmark list:

~snip~

-the edgewater inn in seattle. i'm not sure it's still open or what as taken it's place, but if you can get a room, try and get some fishing in. it was at the corner of alaskan way and lenora street.

-there's the omni royal orleans down my way on the gulf coast. it's on st. louis st. in the french quarter, new orleans. watch out for the whiskers...

-rock back up to my hometown in chicago, and stay at the ambassador east on north state street-zep's tour home base (page and plant used the four seasons in '98). go during the blues fest and maybe meet buddy guy(or make the pilgrimmage to the checkerboard lounge on the southside...)

looking california?

-the inglewood forum is still there, i think: 3900 w. manchester inglewood, ca. if you see the ghost of keith moon, run...

-the rainbow is on sunset blvd in LA. eat and drink quickly, you never know what your food will be replaced with on top of your table....

-while in sunset, hit the whiskey. everyone else has. the whiskey a go go will have sticky floors, but if you close your eyes, you can imagine zep doing the yardbirds "for your love" on 1/5/69...

there's more....fillmore in san fran, the kingdome in seattle, the silverdome in pontiac, mi, the entire town of dallas, texas, etc...perhaps someone here here can assist you more.
