That's almost how I feel about 1968.

The earliest recorded show circulating is Dec. 30, 1968 Gonzaga University, Spokane, Washington. So far nothing from the 1968 Scandinavian and UK tours has surfaced, nor anything from the first few dates of the '68-'69 North American tour.

Somebody must have recorded one of the early shows before 1969. But it seems we'll never know for sure. Whomever has it has been hoarding it for over 45 years and if they wanted to share, it would have been out by now.

Re: video footage - possibly the Most Holy Grail of all lost rock footage is the ABC TV crew who filmed the Jimi Hendrix Experience playing Voodoo Chile (Slight Return) live in the studio as they recorded the actual track. Footage disappeared from ABC's archive in the early 70s...

Oops wrong forum. :P

1st post on this board. Forgive me if it's been posted elsewhere - I picked up the San Diego 3/10/75 soundboard over the weekend in NYC. The Cellar Dweller release is titled 'Still Singin the Blues.' It's pretty good, but certainly no Flying Circus. A bit too much treble and Jimmy's guitar is not high enough in the mix. Good performance.

You sure the date is right? I'm not trying to call bullshite on you, I just don't wanna get my hopes up.

The label says March 10, 1975, which doesn't mean it's correct. Plant certainly greets San Diego following Sick Again, but I'm not familiar enough with the 10th or 14th to distinguish the accuracy. 3 CD's, but does not appear to be the complete show as it ends with Heartbreaker.

The release itself is listed in the link below, but a pretty detailed search has not found it listed anywhere else. Here's the Cellar Dwellar link: http://cellardwellerpro.com/catalog/catalog2.html

I looked into and it's a fake. The show from the 10th has the usual encore of Whole Lotta Love/Black Dog. Heartbreaker was played as the encore on the 14th.
